Looks great. Though I have to admit that I'm way more excited for the inevitable Beast Liger, Rising Liger, and Wild Liger Kai well eventually see utilizing this model as a base.

Very interesting way to integrate joints into something that was conspicuously lacking in properly-sculpted ones in the solid-piece legs...

I like how they turned the seamline on the head into a feature. That's pretty funny.

Will this kit be bigger than a 1/72 scale HMM kit?

Will this kit be bigger than a 1/72 scale HMM kit? HLJ lists it as being 1/35, so it should be the same size as the TT model, i.e. about the same as the 1/72 ligers or maybe a bit smaller.

The Zoids themselves are much smaller, in lore, so 1/35 scale events out to slightly smaller than 1/72. Wild Liger is only 4.5 meters tall, compared to Liger Zero's 8.3 meters (and Zero is a smaller cat, some like Blade Liger are 12 meters tall).

The kit has been delayed to October. Don't you just hate delays?

The figurine was the dead giveaway it's 1/35. that and the leg pistons, I don't think they could make either of those that tiny in that level of detail at 1/72 It's weird how the idea of riding a zoid is growing on me, I just don't like the particular way Wild is doing it for the most part. They need to think 'howdah' not crotch rocket. at least if they're going to keep putting them between the zoid's head and its back-mounted weapon

Hmmm... the art isn't bad, but I think the pose and angle serve to make the legs look like unarticulated sticks... kind of like the actual toy! A for effort, but this pic doesn't really speak to me. The kit looks far better than the image, which is not the usual case!

DHL shipping on amimai cost me 5,140 yen. It was on sale for 7,260 yen on amiami. 7,260 and 5,140 make 12,400.
