Kotobukiya announced at today's event that they'll be handling not one, not two, but three of the Zoids Wild kits! Two of the three currently have concept art by Masashi Katahira. Further Viewing:- Link

Idk how I feel about them doing the Wild line. I will probably get this first round to test the water. If they are also 1/72 scale and really small kits I think that would be neat.

Yeah, I wouldn't a collection of smaller 1/72 Zoids Wild mini zoids in my collection. I don't really have the time and space to build the bigger kits these days (I've still got a few HMMs sitting in unopened boxes at home. Also my health took a major hit a few years ago - my hands don't work as well as they used to.) Saying that, it's good to see the HMMs back. The Tomy motorised kits are nice but I prefer poseable detailed Zoids these days. I wouldn't be averse to Zoids Wild being part of the Zoids Aggressive line, either.

Someone on discoed says it’s coming with lots of attachments like flames and a Zoids key

Finally got some time to take a closer look at these. Wild Liger has a nice HMM design. I really like that the black body is visible through the mane plates. It gives it a much more mechanical look, I feel like. The many vents, etc. on Wild Liger will also lend themselves well to the HMM treatment.

First thing I notices was that the proportions are much better. The toy looked like it had tiny, spindly legs that were terribly undersized; like a chibi kitten. This one is much better.
Now, what scale will they be?

I hope that the concept art is just wonky since I really don't like how the head caps look smaller than the other ones.

So HLJ is reporting 1/35 scale for the wild liger. I'm assuming this will be comparable to the 1/72 due to wild being that much smaller mechs

I guess they'll have to be part of a separate HMM collection.

Now if only they would give Death Rex an HMM kit.

A 1/72 scale Wild Liger would have been smaller than Leoblaze. How would you even build that?

HLJ? Because there's nothing to see at HLJ.. I mean it will be 1/35 as the Wild kits are 1/35 as well but the Fang and Wild kind of hold their own next to say a Command Wolf or Liger in terms of size. Gilraptor is still way too small next to a Geno though.. But I reckon the size difference shall be the same as the non HMM kits.

HLJ has a shizuoka Hobby Show 2019 Report linked banner on their homepage. That's where they reported it. I should have included the link in my original post. Here is the link. hlj.com/shizuoka-hobby-show-2019-report
