So they will be approximately the same sizes as the toy kits. That will be a good fit for making 1/72 scale custom. ^_^

New photos of the HMM Wild Liger from the All Japan Hobby Show are coming in! Cannot wait for this one or any other announcements they have.

Wow that looks great! And Koto didn't screw up the proportions like they usually do. I think this will be my first HMM since the original Gojulas release!

Gotta admit, these designs really lend themselves to the HMM treatment. It looks really good with actual jointed legs!

I'm a little shocked how good that looks, tbqh. It's like it has five layers of detail. Note also the pilot miniature, that should be fun to paint.

I am actually hoping that Arashi comes painted like the small standing one I have that was released a while ago.

I almost feel like the Wild zoids were built with HMM in mind, because HMM versions of original zoids tend to look kind of spindly and small-headed, but Wild ones seem to have that taken into account. Once they get HMM'd they look perfect!

Although that's not exactly new, yeah it does feel like they had that stuff in mind from the beginning

HMM Zoids in the spotlight again at Osaka Hobby Fest, no Tiger/Gilraptor yet unfortunately but we do get to see the Wild Liger and re-releases again.

I'm gonna say nope to that eye effect part, but I really like the look of those blades. They took that and turned it from something that was just functional on the toy version to actually looking cool. Neat.

The blades look really good. Um... what's with the thing on the face?

The blades look really good. Um... what's with the thing on the face? I think in the anime the Zoids' eyes light up with this sort of flame around them when they go into Wild Blast mode, and that's what that's meant to represent.

Yeah, the effect part is the Wild Blast flame from the anime & manga. I think it'll look a lot better in the transparent teal, where the swirl will center around the eye. I do wish they hadn't gone for something completely flat, though. There have been some amazingly well done fan parts for the flames, and while I understand the swirl part, making the entire flame a flat board was a mistake. That being said, liking the direction they took for the blades. They are, after all, called "Mane Claws" and here they really follow the claw motif, while still looking like blades. The Arashi figure also comes with Wild Blast details.
