I do like the sturdy look to it, and the guns continue to be a huge leap forward for this guy. At this stage, I can see how an HMM Bigasauru could be fascinating!

I agree at this stage you could change this into several creatures! I had to smile a bit when i build the two feet stabelizer as i remembered the huge ones the Ogre will have. But these are constructed very nice and with many details.

Looking good! I just had the same thought about the Ogre's stabilizers looking at your pic!

shovelchop81: And this is a Point i am looking forward to build the Ogre and can see all the differences, even if the building process is a lot of work and will be also to finish the Ogre. I am now very certain that there are a lot of differences, but i would not miss this one as it has more Retro style and the Colors rock!.

LOL, very true but I can only fit so many Gujulas on a shelf so having the OER release next to the different coloured Ogre will be enough for me!

😅 i understand! Here is the tail with all sections only the weapons at the end missing. Building was not as complex as i thought as you can do the four sections in one step.

I'm looking at those tail hydraulics... they don't look funcional. Am I right that the joints seem to actually take place between them? Still, the tail of this kit IS definitely superior in design to the the single piece, "weight saving grill" look of the original.

Tail is complete now! Gojulas now looks like an angry techno killer snake 😂 Honestly i like proportions of the sections and design of the weapons and hydraulic tubes.

Maethius: yes there is place there but the tubes are realy working, i like that! Optically you are right Gojulas could have Problems to move the tail in the real world but hey... On the other hand when you look at cars they sometimes have mounted these parts at different places as they lead the forces for movement over several parts to them right? When you see it like this maybe the arrangement here is not that way out?!

Love those pistons! And they are placed logically as lifting the tail would need a lot more force than swinging it due to gravity.

And you can move the weapons also in an inoperative mode. I am curious now to see the arms on it! Not sure if maybe i build the legs first so that it can stand on its own.

The tail looks great! It is certainly broader than the original. Those external tubes appear to me like a roll cage to protect the joints against impact.
