What other mods are you making to him. ANd I'd be tempted to sue gundam hands on him, if you can get ones the right size. You want to sue Gundam? Good luck! Don't worry, just teasing! I plan to use Transformers Unicron hands that are large and fully articulated. Here's a pic of my Bionicle stash next to the full size DK:
I'm adding as much posability as possible and going for this dynamic look with less bandages I'd imagine:
What the...does that show that in concept the backpack was to deployable as a nearly separate zoid? Almost like a fuzor except it was built as part of the kong and seperated later? That's freaking awesome. We do know it has to cores, one in the body, one in the pack. I also meant to use "use" in my previous post. I tend to mix up letters when in a hurry typing. Anyway, makes me wonder if it can regenerate it's primary core if the secondary is intact.

Where did you get those fists?! From some junked/broken Transformers figure called Unicron, he turns into a planet eating planet! You can usually find a few on eBay going cheap especially if you're in the USA. Plus there's a new anniversary version of that mould coming out now so I imagine some collectors will be offloading their old knackered ones for nice new shiny version very soon!

ARGH! I suspected that, actually. I've seen the hands used before and was looking for a pair when I made my current custom, but they would be so handy to have for future builds! ... That pun was actually not intended....
Thanks for the pics; they really give me a perfect sense of size!

Well like I said the junked Unicrons go cheap for spare parts on ebay so just do a search, where are you located?

I'm north of Seattle, WA. One time I missed nabbing a TF Primus, too... never should have let that thrift store find escape!

Well I just found a Unicron in decent shape (incomplete, missing wings and missiles) with all the limbs, joints, hands, feet, head, body all in one piece for 18 quid here in the UK on eBay so you must have far more choice and cheaper options in the USA: home of Hasbro!

WOuld be interesting if it were to turn out the Deadly Kong is jsut a host and the real zoid is the the symbiote in the backpack. Actually, considering the events of the final battle in genesis, I'd consider that highly likely. WOuld also stand to reason that the symbiote could possibly revive the core of it's host if given time.

Nice idea but what a waste! I'd kill for a Deathpion! I've only ever seen one on eBay and for crazy money, why are they so rare? Yeah, I could make one of those easily enough, just some Bionicle and Star Wars droid parts would work.

Sort of a cross between a "Body Snatcher" and a Zeek thingie sentient whatchamacallit zoid. Organoid, that's it!

I'm suddenly curious if it's possible to combine I-Kong and D-Kong shoulder armor parts. Probably not, they look to different in shape.. If they were you could add the 10 shot rocket bomb on one shoulder and to the other add a mount for the 6 shot missile launcher and retain the shock cannon. But yeah it's kinda like an organoid, especially since it's unpiloted. Or seems to be unpiloted.
