I knew it reminded me of something Good to see those photos, It looks good, always love the poses they come up with. Though I still have one question the photos didn't answer, Do the hands open up? If it could actually grab things that would be the difference in me maybe buying one or not.

Yeah, the hands can definitely open~ The thumb is a pretty stupid design (a U shaped hinge instead of C shaped so it doesn't "latch" into the joint like it should) but the rest of the hand is pretty decent and each finger is separately articulated. Be mature, kids! Zoikino's review of the original Iron Kong.

Oh perfect, exactly what I was hoping to see . Much more fun can be had,and am now Surprised I hadn't seen any mischievous immature pictures actually lol. I don't have the original iron kong I never payed much attention. I am certainly tempted, Just hoping it would all be stable.

Ehh, I dunno if they changed anything after the first release, but my experience with the original was absolutely terrible. I couldn't pose it without spending another 10 minutes putting it back together. The biggest problem was that a lot of parts I had trouble with could not be glued because they were movable parts. Gluing them would mean losing the gimmicky features. Of course, as with all HMMs, mileage may vary. Some people haven't had these problems.
Fwiw I'm also fairly sure they changed the type of rubber used in later HMM releases (not kong specifically, I only have the original), as they seem to have much better stability nowadays. The PK may very well have better quality joints. Not a guarantee, just a guess.

That looks insane, I'm glad Mr wallet will have a few months to recover from the May re-releases before this bad boy drops. And as far as the red goes I'm happy with it. Although I guess it will be a painted photo shoot model.

Comes out August 2016. I so want to get this. Right now, I don't have the money to pre-order it.

No, the light up effects in the main Koto site picture are just something they do on computer for most Zoids.
