Whoa. In that pic, the Liger Red Hiou actually looks kind of pretty (compared to that earlier - smaller and darker - pic I saw in the other topic)! The sakura decals are the nice touch as well.

It is awesome beyond awesomeness :D. Hopefully I'll actually manage to get one...unlike the Shieldy Commander, which taunted me with its metal flake red. The box art is kinda weird, though - the Liger's head looks especially funny shading-wise. (edit) BURN IN THE FIERY DEPTHS OF FORUM HELL,  . |

Still not feeling the love for Hiou, though the Miko Custom is nice.
Nice decals on Hiou, and I'm gonna try to get one for parts swapping.

The box art rocks beyond rockines. It's hard to tell from those pics - is the armour pink-tinged or clear (with reflections off the red parts making it look pink)?

By the looks of things, the armour does look like that it's pink-tinged (check out the lower jaw, 'crest' and booster armour in the top pictures) rather than clear. But if the armour's actually clear, then they've done a pretty good job with choosing that particular colour for the body/tail to give the illusion that the armour's pink... :3 |

It's pink, definitely, or they're otherwise messing with it - clear plastic doesn't pick up THAT much of a color under it normally.
Still, it's a cleeeeeeeear whatever Liger of awesome.

I'd go with "translucent pale red" but what with light naturally being "white" those parts which have no "backing" are very clearly pink  |
