Same here.
A minature Gojulas wasn't quite what I was hoping Tomy was going to come out with, but if it's really, really detailed, and if Tomy includes more similar-scale Zoids in this line I might consider getting it. Though I'd like one with the light up effects AND the long-range cannons without having to buy both the ZED-1 and the ZED-2. (Tomy will probably release that as ZED-3).
A lone Evo Drive Zoid may look out of place among it's larger-scale kin, but a group of them might look pretty good. It's not like they'll take up too much shelf-space.

Looks like a highly detailed, motorized action figure line. Wow... the pic next to the Molga is revealing, isn't it? I can tell you this much, not for $50! Maybe for $20, but more like $15.
One thing that this scale and level of detail would be good for, if they REALLY ran with it (not merely made 4 LTDs then abandoned it) would be for a tabletop boardgame such as Battletech or Macross. I wouldn't mind seeing 20 models of this kind doing battle... but mini-motorized?
Not yet, TT... it will take more than this to catch me!

Bah!
I still fail to see how this will cost $50. -.o
Currently I am disappointed. For the Mariner I was expecting the full Mariner.

So basically, one could spend ~$75 plus shipping for a pseudo King Gojulas that acts like a King Gojulas, but doesn't look like one and is only 10cm tall.
I may pass.

I'm with Colodie, what with my other fandoms showing off other shiny things (oh Aries Shion Surplice, you shall be mine) I'm almost thankful that there's not much good coming out in the zoids fandom.

I not quite sure about the way they seem to be proud of the fact that it is "Extremely Small" That's no way to justify a $50 price tag! I gotta admit I like the detail... just wish it were bigger!

Wow, all I can say is:
1) At least it's not a liger 2) With the lack of (decent) zoids activity, I can catch up on all those Binaltechs I missed when they came out!
I mean, for $50 it should at least buy me dinner, you know?

In France, a good dinner will cost you more than 50 $, if you want a really good one... But I agree, and I was wrong : it is not a Liger.

From my (albiet limited) knowledge of Japan, space can be somewhat of an issue, so the ability of the average buyer to have somewhere to put it would be a selling point, I'd image.

Yeah, there's so few bipedal dino Zoids. Better one of them than a Liger, since they make such rare appearances!
(I counted once. I had more dinos, despite my love of pointed cats. Yes, this complaint irks me.)

Are restaurants actually that expensive in France? ... or is it food in general that's more expensive, and nobody notices because they make more money or something? Currency exchange is weird, but spending more than 50 bucks for dinner for two in the states is pretty ridiculous unless you both got lobster
