*grins* 'bout time someone noticed. ^^ I got the inspiration to stick the saws on it from looking at my gildragon one day. And for whatever reason, the head crest off spino sapper makes me think of Stormer.

KAndrw, thanks for the note on my Molga. I started it off with a simple idea and stuck to my guns. Besides, the Molga and CPs were freebies from a pal who didn't want them anymore. Didn't want to overdo it the first time since this Molga is my very first custom. A little bit to add: This Molga custom comes in a pair but I only submitted one for the contest as required in the rules. I liked your Katerkiller too. Is that a harpoon on the back? Does it fire off when the motor is wound up? If so, that's one neat addition to the arsenal of the Katerkiller. Big thumbs up on the originality of that weapon. Of all the customs, I'd say I like DD's Terra Kong, Ped's Geno Breaker Spectre, Raul's Bio-Rhadamanthys and of course, the icing on the cake - Lionel's little Zavenga. I love little critters and it looks extremely cute.

Big thumbs up on the originality of that weapon. Alas, I wasn't able to make the harpoon fire. At one point I hoped to make the launcher spring loaded, but couldn't do so in the time available. There isn't actually a wind up motor in the Katerkiller any longer - I ripped the coilspring out of the existing motor then used the motor case and winder as a battery/switchbox. Wires run from the box up to the harpoon winch, and when you turn the old winder, it powers the winch and reels the harpoon back in. I'll try to get some more pictures of it up tonight

Dude, here's an idea. If you have a spare shoulder-fired missile unit from the NJR Iron Kong, you could easily make a harpoon that can be fired.. With a little bit of cutting and painting of course.

Someone voting for Abaddon. Who the Hell?! EDIT: I would have appreciated it if you didn't post that KB. That's quite slanderous in my opinion. Anyway I've PM'd Pheno to get to the bottom of this.

You knew it AFTER Pheno mentioned it, or you knew it all along? Its a nifty custom but I can see Lego parts from the Technics? series in it. Still, an original custom no doubt. Dude, don't want to sound rude and all, but do you have proof of this? If not its really not a nice thing for you to name names if the culprit was not identified by Pheno himself. I do agree with Abaddon, it's a little slanderous to have said that. Why? Because in posting that bit you kinda linked the culprit to Abaddon and this may affect his overall results in the contest. We could all say that the person voted twice for you, instead of Abaddon but you wouldn't like that now would you? Just some thoughts, don't get offended.

Wow...just, wow. I've been having to sift through back and forth to decide which one I'll be voting for! This year's efforts are extremely wonderful. I am just in pure shock and awe at some of these customs... Definitely won't be voting tonight...that'd be too fast, in my opinion.

MatrixSaix, I'm taking my time to vote. That's because I have 4 customs running around in my head to choose from, but I certainly won't vote for myself. VaN, do take part in the voting process. We're all in this together and it would be a pity not to vote.

KB meant no harm, and was just being a bit too honest. The contest is supposed to be decided upon by skill execution and aesthetics, not PR. If anybody is swayed by matters like these, chances are they will most likely vote in Abbadon's favour now. Anyways, I'm quite pleased with the entries this year. I feel that the caliber of skill has definately been on the rise, and that those japanese Zoiders better start watching their backs .

** Rhimos Mercury by ghe It's shiny and overgunned, and the concept for the multi-beam unit is pretty neat. At first I thought the beam unit was two felt-tip pens! But the additional photos showed how cool it looks from slightly above. I'd really like to see a fully overhead shot of the entire unit, with wings deployed. thanks for the review, kandrw as you resquested: more at www.tabulas.com/~rhimosmercuryi was delighted with the felt tip pen comment. actually, i was trying to achieve a beam emitter tip, a laser like look. pylox doesn't have a red flourescent color and the closest i can get is red orange. later i've learned that is should have used transparent red (w/c tamiya has.) the quick silver paint was REALLY shinny. it reflects a lot of the flash of the camera - even at low lighting, it still reflects a lot of the ambient light. actually, i used a thin coat of the quck silver over the lack under coat on the armors - the shinniest part would be his lower back armor coz i i never let any black to see through. being overly gunned is for back up in case the multi beam cannon gets damaged and unable to be used this is my first custom and i must say i'm pretty happy with it. lessons learned and duly noted - but most importantly, i'm happy to be part of this event -ghe
