Someone voting for Abaddon. Who the Hell?! EDIT: I would have appreciated it if you didn't post that KB. That's quite slanderous in my opinion. Anyway I've PM'd Pheno to get to the bottom of this. Who's that fellow who did that anyway? , no sportsmanship at all. Besides I believed that Abaddon wasn't at fault , could be someone who is trying to sabotage him ... Either way I had a hard time thinking of which custom to vote ;D

I would have appreciated it if you didn't post that KB. That's quite slanderous in my opinion. Anyway I've PM'd Pheno to get to the bottom of this. Slander is when a misrepresentation is orally communicated. You're thinking of libel At any rate, don't worry so much about it. People should be voting for their favourite custom, not for the custom created by the forum member they most fancy, and not against the custom created by a forum member they dislike. Anybody who does otherwise is a tool.

I hope this thread does not go off too much on the multiple voters thing. I have faith in the voting Members and the Mods to be fair.
The overall quality of the entries was great, so I've had to highlight extremely minor "faults" to make a decision. My close but not quite are: Ped's Geno Breaker Spectre - very well constructed and painted, but a little too spikey for me. Raul's Bio-Rhadamanthys - again well built, but the black paint does not show off the detail. Stormhawk's Desert Molga - another well built custom, but a bit simple compared to others.
So my four finalists are: Alteka's Proto Rayse Tiger. Epyon's Mega's Wolf. Hi Docker's Gogulas Giga Mk II. Lionel's Zavenga. All four look as good as (if not better than) genuine Tomy Zoids. Thats the kinda thing I look for in a Custom. Glad there were no Poke-Zoids in the mix, otherwise I'd never be able to pick one !

Oh wells, let it rest for now then. Apologies if I dampen the spirit of the contest. I was being immature to jump to conclusion (and on some members) just because I was casually named. I took the contest too seriously it seems My top five of the year is the following in no order of merit: 1) Fire Kylin 2) Gojulas Gigas MK2 3) Storm Gryphon 4) Bio-Rhadamanthys 5) Treachery Liger (I really think its cool so pls dun throw bricks at me )

I just wanted to clarify that Abaddon himself was not associated with the person who tried to cheat at voting in any way. -Pheno

Thanks for all the comments on mys custom
Anyway, like I said before, this is one hell of a contest. I'm really having a hard time deciding on whom to vote for.
Oh and Juno, you're being too hard on yourself. Your customs are always impressive.

** Command Wolf Pyre Storm by Gun Liger The weathering is very nice, the guns are well done and the story is excellent, but the thing that screams out at me for this zoid is the head design. It really is awesome, and totally captures the concept of excessive speed and death-risk piloting! Wow, thanks for the nice comments KAndrw, I really appreciate it. Really made my day to see some good things mentioned about my custom.

umm when is the voting going to end...and where will we go to see who has one? ? First, ease up on the question marks, one will do fine. Second, if you would just read the rules on the other contest thread you'd see when the contest ends. Last, I will be announcing the winners on the forum and on my site. -Pheno

KB meant no harm, and was just being a bit too honest. The contest is supposed to be decided upon by skill execution and aesthetics, not PR. If anybody is swayed by matters like these, chances are they will most likely vote in Abbadon's favour now. Anyways, I'm quite pleased with the entries this year. I feel that the caliber of skill has definately been on the rise, and that those japanese Zoiders better start watching their backs . I agree that this contest is for the customs. The skill and execution is everything. I'm sorta getting tired that people are judging my custom based on the battle story, when it sucks. Anyways, Abaddon, you shouldnt be worried. I'm sure that only the people swayed by this don't deserve to vote anyways.
