I think that the evolutionary changes in the Blade Liger and the Geno Breaker was based on the organoid's personality and their master's personality.

Lol poor Geno Saurer Yeah, well. That's kind of what I meant. -Dano I believe it's red because Raven's abilities as a Zoid pilot. He wanted the ultimate destruction machine, and so Shadow put all his effort into creating it. It may be red because of Raven's never ending rage and hatred. You know, customized to Raven's tastes...

This may or may not have been said, but I think that Ambient messed with Genosaurers core, so when Shadow evolved it, it was red. If Ambient hadn't messed with it, I think Shadow would have evolved it into Genobreaker Jet ;D

Geno Jet = Ultimate X version of Geno Breaker. Therefore Shadow would be stuck permanently there, and he could barely stay in a zoid for more than a few minutes.
Of course, I'm only going by MMM, which seems pretty realistic...

Ok here's my take..
Raven's original Geno Saurer was destroyed by Van's Blade liger. Hiltz gave Raven a new Geno Saurer that had a red undercoat rather than the purple undercoat. I think the Red -Geno is more related to the Death Saurer but thats me.
Shadow witch like a shadow is black used his power to evolve the red geno to the red breaker. If he where to do it to the original geno it would be purple.
I beleave that the Fury is a new model of the geno saurer family possibly evolved from a altered Geno Breaker, but has nothing to do with Shadow or Raven.
In the Manga Raven eventully gets a Beserk Fury and Van gets a Liger Zero.
THe Blade Liger (Ceaser) evolves into the Liger Zero. While the Geno Breaker evolves into the Beserk Fury and then into the Beserk Fury SE ( Shadow Edge)
I'll post pics of the BFSE if I get a chance.
Liger evolution- Sheild Liger-Blade Liger- Liger Zero- Wild Liger ----------------------------------l Liger Zero X, Panzer,Schinder,Jager,Phoniex
Geno Saurer-GenoBreaker- Beserk Fury- Beserk Fury SE --------l------------------l--------------l---------------------- Various versions of each

In New Century ZERO, you can tell that Liger ZERO is obviousily an eveloution of the Blade Liger. I don't think there's anything obvious about it. The Blade Liger didn't have a cannon on its tail. It had two blades. Liger Zero's body is completely different from the Blade Liger's. Its components are all different, its head smaller, even its joints look different. I really can't see any connection. We saw white Shield Ligers in Guardian Force. That means that there are certain Ligers that probably take on a white form naturally. I agree with Pheno that the red color scheme was probably intended to add to the Geno Breaker's identity. After all, it's really just an exclusive CP for the Genosaurer. If you want to try to rationalize the anime, I figure that Hiltz embeded some kind of alteration within the second Genosaurer before he gave it to Raven. As Tyrannotaur said, Genosaurer 2 was black and red (a much better color scheme in my opinion.) Perhaps that's where the red for Geno Breaker comes from. That's not entirely true. Caesar's Zoid core was transfered into the Liger Zero's mainframe. The Blade Liger's body remained battered and worn and probably died off without the core. Berserk Fury Shadow Edge was developed from scratch by Dr. F with the intent of waking the Deathsaurer. We actually see the BFSE hack a Geno Breaker to ribbons.

They could've been painted white to connect them with a certain army unit. Remember the white Command Wolves that backed up the Gojulas unit in " Attack of the Genobreaker?" -Dano

My understanding is that most Command Wolves are naturally white.

That's a 3-D sensor...thingie...but yeah.
*nods*...the Blade Liger was totally trashed by the berserk Death Stinger-only its core is part of the Zero frame.

That's a 3-D sensor...thingie...but yeah. I'm not sure what's on the Liger Zero's tail (maybe a sensor), but I'm pretty sure the Blade Liger's tail is just another short-range weapon that's never used.

*looks* The Japanese boxes say AZ 108mm High-Density Beam Gun for the Zero, and 3-D Duel Sensor for Blade Liger's.
