I dunno...doesn't seem to make too much sense concerning the color. Organoids, nor their pilots, seem to have any effect on a zoid's color when it comes to evolution. If so, wouldn't that mean Van's Blade Liger would've been silver and not blue?

Hmm, this is a difficult topic to place an exact answer on... Perhaps their true armour colour is not red, but that of a normal Zoid. Now imagine that in a past war, there was a special battalion of Zoids. Maybe their Zoids' armour was painted red in order to link them to that specific group?

It could just be a way like all zoids aren't the same, like a finger print of sorts. Maybe TOMY made it red so we would sit here for hours on end fussing over it.

What I mean is that the Genosaurer was black to begin with. Well, like most every other Zoid, that colour should have been carried over to the next eveloution, right. In New Century ZERO, you can tell that Liger ZERO is obviousily an eveloution of the Blade Liger. The blades on the side have been changed to help with speed, which by that, you will also notice that the boosters have been upgrade quite significantly. The cannons on the stomach have decreased in size, but also helps keep ZERO somewhat aerodynamic. The cannon on the tail also remains. " But it's white," you say. Yes, but remember that Dr. Toros bought it because, " White Ligers are rare and parts for them are hard to find." This would mean that Liger ZERO was not origionally white. This was probably done by means of a controlled eveloution.

Phenotype, what's your take on this?
EDIT: Oh yeah! Sorry Wolfy. Scratch my story of the belly cannon then. The tail cannon was already there, though. But everything else... it's undeniable!

But everything else... it's undeniable!Personally I don't think there's any story behind it. I think Tomy made them different colors so that people wouldn't feel cheated about buying the same kit twice. Geno Breaker does have additional weapons but they aren't that different in kit form. -Phenotype

I agree with Pheno-it just looked good, and making it just a Saurer with added weapons would be kind of boring model-wise.
Breaker to Fuehrer makes sense in the anime universe, I think, but not in the model one. Isn't Fluffy Bunny another wild-Zoid-based critter like Liger Zero?
