...to cut with? Is there plastic cutters? A stable snip/slicer? I'm really tired of slicing pieces off of my hand with that darn exact-o knife!! I keep getting blood all over the place. Plus my right index finger is REALLY scarred!

I just use the good old exacto knife. Only cut myself badly once! Heh... I've also built a Zoid or two just using scissors. It really sucks to do it and it hurt my hand., but it is possible.
There are also spuce cutters and/or wire cutters that you could use.

Sprue cutters would be the best, but they're really expensive, around $13 at my hobbyshop

You could just bend them off by hand and then clean the flash with finger nail clippers, it works fine for me.

Yeah, but I've broken parts in other spots doing it with my bare hands. I use various types of razer blades (box cutters, exacto blades, utility knives) depending on what's at hand.

Try using a serrated blade exacto knife or use Testor's brand sprue cutter, it works great.

I use pliers or cutters to cut off the part from the sprue tree. Once that is done, I proceed to use a hobby knife to remove the leftover sprue from the part.
Once that is complete, I proceed to sand with about 600 grit sandpaper and end at 1000 grit. Depending on your patience you can remove the sprue mark totally.
If I'm painting, I usually stop at 800 grit, then prime the bugger.

I use a small pair of very sharp scissors to remove the parts from the sprues. Then I use the basic Testors model knife to trim them.
I occasionally jab or slice myself still... I'm more concerned with the model than my fingers.

If you keep cutting yourself then be more careful. I've built over 160 Zoids and I've always used a hobby knife and never cut myself badly. -Phenotype

I use Nail Clippers to remove the parts from the tree. I only use my exacto to slice parts up for customs.
