"Ya Pheno... Your so much better than us... "Pheno's just giving his opinion and telling him to be more carfull. No need to act rude about it Silver. Phenos also has had alot of more experience than most us zoiders. Therefor he knows more and is wiser. Yeah I just use a hobby knife too. Exactos are usually too big and clumsy to use. Ive built about over 100 zoids and the only time I drew blood was when I was buidling Buster Eagle and thats because i wasnt using a hobby knife.

The old sharp knife less dangerous thing is true. The few times I've knicked my fingers, they healed so quickly I only needed to leave a bandage on for a few hours.
The trick is to remember not to cut towards your fingers...and if there's no other way to get at a piece, don't press that hard.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I've never cut myself getting pieces off the sprues. It always happens while custom cutting parts. Maybe I just get in too big of a hurry or try to take too big of a cut.

I think I've used a 7 in hunting knife when customising before...had to do with the need for leverage at the time.

I just take the pieces out and trim them with nail clippers if there is any excess(sp?) plastic to trim lol
