I don't know how it was released, it was a collab with the Hololive vtuber Shirakami Fubuki. I can't recall if the colors are based on her character design or if she picked them out and they just happen to be similar.

Ah okay - I tend to ignore the event specific stuff unless it's something I REALLY want to get my hands on because those kits tend to be almost impossible to come by. I'm spending too much money on stuff I really only buy because of the Youtube channel anymore as it is.

Anyway, the extra parts on that look like they're from one of the ZW CP units, just in a nice color.

Im not familiar with Fubuki because of the language barrier, but I do enjoy watching clips of HololiveEN members. If they got a Zoids collab I would buy one immediately.

There was also a limited White Hunter Wolf armor awhile back. Having these all these can make a nice wolf pack.

Here's the first of the Monster Hunter Zoids. These are much nicer than I expected, but if I'm perfectly honest, I don't see myself getting too many more of these crossover kits if they're just going to be recolors of ZW models. Sonic Bird Laeus coming in two weeks.

It really is a shame this didn't happen in the old days, or that we don't have rereleases of classic zoids, whatever they still have the molds for. But oh well! NJR was already a surprise, so something else can happen like that someday

Don't forget there's an AZ Deathsaurer coming. Now that they've shown they're willing to branch out beyond just sticking a few new parts on the MP frame, I honestly think that's the line I'm happiest about and has the most potential. Even if it dies after the Deathsaurer, that will still have been the best thing to come out since they stopped rereleasing the classic molds.

These ZW recolors are really well executed and I do like them, but I'm in the same boat - I'm not a Zoids Wild hater and there are a lot of things I appreciate about them, but I'll never have the same emotional attachment to them that I have to the old stuff. And the ones that have come out so far aren't even close to being my favorites from the line - I mean, there has to be something in Monster Hunter that they could have used for a Xenorex recolor, for example. Or go ham and do a recolored Grizis.

I didn't even really realize it until I bought a few old kits and realized that even just disassembling them for repairs and reassembling was more fun than putting together an entire Wild kit. Grizis is kind of amusingly over the top for me but not pretty, I'd like to see something just reuse its basic frame

Here's the Sonic Bird Laeus. The short version is that I like this one considerably more than the Beast Liger Magai, and I'm actually quite surprised by this.

You can rearrange the weird tail pieces into something else, can't you? Like attach them to other parts of the body?
