That's what I was hoping MPZ would turn into, but then it died like the last like three nostalgia based lines before it. I just don't think the nostalgia market is big enough to support anything like this. But who knows, maybe TT are doing this to test the waters for a bigger release, and maybe the reduced price because of the reduced features will make the difference. One can dream.

Yeah I think it's a good compromise. For people who want something higher-end than a "toy" model, but are not interested in busting out the tweezers and magnifying glass, and still enjoy things being motorized. It is certainly true that nobody is going to be able to afford a BIG collection of these, but I still like where it's going

Totally agree; great details, doesn't have 850 parts (many of which seem to be totally capable of being molded in other parts), robust builds, maintains the motorized gimmick (if you're still into that aspect).

Still don't have a working way to record audio with my new phone. Sorry for the distortion. Sigh.

I'm really impressed with this kit, especially compared to the B/O version. I like the idea that they didn't overcomplicate pieces like they did with other kits. You can practically feel the customs coming....

Same conclusion as with the Wolf itself - exactly what people wanted and done better than it needed to be done.

Wow, the guns look great! Much more intimidating than the original, which were great. I like that you can adjust and change out the mounting peg, but wish you didn't have to decide which you want before you begin! I also like the deeper missile boxes... I've never been a fan of the, "well, we can mold some pop-can lids all over the place and call them missiles" approach a lot of models take.
Thanks for the info on the kit!

...and here's the 40th Anniversary Liger Zero, one of the more pleasant surprises in recent memory.

I've been hiding under a rock, motorized HMM?! With Death Saurer on the way? :0 Not HMM! Which is why their proportions look kinda better. Though I think they overcompensated on the short torsos. Now Longcat is lonng

These are the AZ series... basically Masterpiece Edition remakes of original bat-op kits. I've set aside about $400 to get the Deathsaurer... my only Zoids purchase in years, and maybe the last unless I can somehow come up with another income stream!

I think if you showed up on discord and offered to commission pieces you may just get a bite or 2,but they may get sticker shock quickly. However I hear ya! This economy is killing everyone except the mega rich.I don't see it stabilizing anytime soon. With my obsession compulsion disorder if I'd just stay away from ebay and buyee or commission things such as these 2 recent ones I'd be better off!
