Thanks for the kind words again everyone! dchan yeah it's nice that they can do something with certain base bodies, Pachy was a good example for that as well. Would still be very nice to get a new mammoth or rhino though... Maethius cool huh? Oh and you should indeed score some CP, they are not expensive at all, and otherwise the new ones for next year have all weapons from these sets as well as new ones. Snowflake yup in the spirit of Halloween haha. Hihi yeah Xenoblade I would say go for it, I've seen some cool customs out there, even someone who made some 1/72 ZW with a cockpit and oldschool pilot.

Here's another round of new pics, this time I will probably write less than previous times, simply because most of these are just other colors, so reviewing them isn't neccessary in terms of what they do etc. It took a while to get them in, build them, take pics etc, so I saved up on posting the stuff per kit and did the whole bunch all at once to save some time doing the reviews. First off is the Sniptera limited. I will call him Snippy from now on, as typing Sniptera all the time is tiresome With all the pictures I tried to use different lighting options ("normal lamp light without flash", with flash and with a lamp which should resemble daylight sort of, although it off course does cast a shadow.) I did this, like most of the previous reviews, to try to show the colors as most of these can appear different depending on the lighting. As you can see in the second pic, the red is shiny, with "sparkly bits mixed into the plastic" (kind of like Gil and Scorpear for instance, just much brighter red) It's funny how the wings cast a shadow and the parts that do show light coming through look like little claws. Normal: With flash: With lamp (which is most true to the actual color in hand) Yeah so he is much brighter red than the normal release, he obviously has blue eyes instead of green and has black caps. Other than that not much to say that's different build wise. I do have to say that I noticed with the normal release (and probably will also happen with the other) that the caps on the wheel tend to rub against the part that holds up the wing, resulting in chafing.... Which color do you prefer?

Then there's Hunter Wolf Red / Flame Wolf, looking good. Not totally okay with the yellow caps as they clash even more than they did with the blue or white version, but I wanted to keep it as it was intended. Would have been nice to have some other caps included in the limited bags. And also because for the custom red Hunter I have I allready changed them to silver. Some group shots with the 5 Wolves: the normal blue release, the "Command Wolf", the custom red one I bought, the Command Wolf where I removed the orange to make an all white version and of course the limited Flame version. Now to show how his color is similar to that of GilRaptor / Scorpear / Raptor, as you can see in these pics. And one with Scorpear added (I forgot to put Raptor in that one) Some red white and blue shots: And finally some pics to show the difference between the custom painted red and the actual Flame version. As you can see the custom is much more of a flat red, while the Flame is shiny. Yup, I still like black and red, again just don't like the yellow on this one (that's why I changed them to silver on the custom. And yes I could changed it around or use other colors altogether, but, yeah well I don't know. I can always change them if I feel like it.

And Gatling Fox, which came in together with my Geno Spinos, but I didn't have time yet to build Geno, so that should be next when I have time. As Gatling Fox is sort of new (save for the base again of course), here's what I think. Before I had him in hand I thought he would look less armored than he appears. Of course he still doesn't have a lot of armor (mainly because Hunter's armor covered up his legs much better and even though Hunter had those backflaps, they did fill out the body way better in the folded back position than the guns do on Gatling). So yes Gatling does still appear much more naked than Hunter and I don't really care much for the WB mode, like I did with Hunter. But he actually looks really nice. The silver looks good on him, the clear darker grey body parts (all body parts are clear grey) kind of work. The gold (yes it is gold) sort of works. At first I was afraid it was going to be yellow again like Gil Commander, as some pics online really made it look like it was indeed yellow (even though the production pics were gold), but since Hunter should have had Green eyes instead of Yellow, well you never know until you have it in hand. But it is a matter of lighting, as they are indeed gold. And not filthy Sturm gold, but actually fitting the silver, somewhat lighter than Stylaser gold. So I do like him, not really all the way okay with that tail, and would have preferred if they made the leg armor better (as it would have looked better if they did actually go around the cap so that you would see less of that rehashed body). If they did something with a round shape and some edges it would still be different to Hunter's leg armor. But it's still a nice kit though and like the darker blue caps too. Anyhooo, here he is (and I wanted to do some "fancy" light from the back see-through pics, but ended up not doing it for some reason.) And in case you're wondering why he has a blue gun...well I actually forgot to take pics of his naked version for those clear parts, so had to do it after Silver Gatling. That silver looks cool right?

So next time when I have the time I will do Geno (waiting to be built). I liked that one ever since it was announced so want to build him. I can allready say one thing about him, his caps are supposed to be goldish although they appear yellowish, BUT they are actually bigger than all other M, L and XL ZW kit caps. That is a bit weird as the Geno is not a bigger XL in terms of scale. Problem is you can't change the caps to a different color which I would maybe have done with my second Geno... You can, if you want to put Gojulas or Giga caps on him for instance as they do fit. But putting any other ZW cap will not work as they are smaller. Weird...
Till next time, when Geno is finished and I will put those pics up.
Again thanks for reading and till next time fellow Zoiders.

Thanks for the great, clear pics showing the kits and the comparisons between them. They really did some great design work on some of them, but I still wish they hadn't messed with the scale and the quasi-bio look. I'm glad to see the return (or at least the direction to return) to the more traditional designs.

These are excellent pictures. It's nice to know that even if the Wild zoids aren't my absolute cup of tea, they still look pretty good overall

Man, you are a consummate Zoids connossieur! I feel I keep up pretty regularly with the news and information, but most of these like that limited Sniptera I didn't even realize existed while you already went ahead and made sure to snag them all! Thanks as always for the clear photos.
I really like the look of the gold weapons you put on Beast Liger. Pretty neat to see the Fox's translucent skeleton form! And Fang Tiger is an excellent design, I think it looks good all around but that white armor gives it a lot of elegance too.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Personally I didn't think the photos were that clear or great, lighting wise, as I don't have the time or space to set up a more professional photoshoot. Maethius yeah indeed, especially with the "XL" it's really off.. because I don't see bigger stuff than this happening. Kits like Spideath and Scorpear are (besides the rider) kind of the same size as Guysack etc. In my comparison pics with older Zoids kits some look okay size wise, but the rider puts it off. The ZW kits look huge in the hands of kids, but Geno is not that big. Indeed it seems that slowly there are some nods coming that remind us of older kits. Snowflake thanks! I know what you mean, I too would probably have preferred old style kits, but at least it's something. And with HMM and ZW HMM next to this line, at least we get some Zoids and maybe you will see some nice kits along the way that you'll like. dchan Thanks, nice to hear you like the pics, I do think the resolution suffered a bit from the photohosting site and then the transfer to the board, as I thought my phone pics looked better. But there's enough left to look at. Yeah that white indeed makes it look nice, and I like Fang Charlie I don't have a personal site, I just put them on the next photohosting site, as photobucket sucked. And thank you too for the compliments.
