Omg thanks so much for the subs, they were great. I just love Wild Liger's pissed off reaction to Arashi's, uh.... interesting team name choice and badge design. Stretchy Liger, I'm dead lol. Getting pwned by a huge metal paw is honestly the only logical reaction there. Drake is such an edgelord but the battle being interrupted by a phone call was just comedy gold. And Ooki is still my fav in this episode. Heck, the entire Team Rocket-- I mean Rap squad was fantastic xD

I'm just dropping by to say thanks to Falcarius for making the subs and Maiasa Liger for making them available on Youtube. I don't think this can be overstated. You guys rock.

Episode 5 subs: TT version / TV ripI haven't got around to listening to this week's Wild Blast Radio yet, but there hasn't exactly been much significant information in the previous installments, so I might not bother posting summaries any more (unless people want me to continue). In fact, there really hasn't been much to report at all lately - although that might change in a few days when the September Zoids are officially revealed...

Thanks Falcarius! Makes watching it much better. Still having a hard time actually really liking the anime.. It's not really funny, or exciting (I watch multiple anime series that all come out on the same day, How not to summon a demon lord, Sirius etc and although I know those are not for kids, I can recall a lot of other kids shows that are much funnier than Zoids Wild..) I can't recall actually laughing at all during any of the 5 episodes. It's watchable but it doesn't grab me at all like the Genesis storyline or CC (even though Genesis started slow, at least it delivered.) Ah well at least it has Zoids in it.. and it's better than Fuzors..

Nice to see the box arts, though they are still quite sub par and unprofessional looking.
The Knuckle Kong is growing on me more and more. The direct side view is definitely NOT its beauty angle, but it's not nearly as bad as I originally thought. I appreciate that it has both upper and lower canines, a rarity in most Zoids. The arms also look a lot better from the front.
Huh, I just noticed the raptor's arms are molded to its body... That's a shame. Maybe they are just too tiny?

Yeah Knuckle Kong is alright, the various negative aspects of its gimmick sort of cancel each other out. The raptor has had me confused all this time, my brain was trying to combine the two raptors I definitely think the tricera's gimmick exemplifies what makes no sense about the wild blasts. The whole thing a triceratops has is the shield and horns and then this gimmick disables and replaces them needlessly

Here you have it walking.

Hmm. On one hand it looks unbalanced so it doesn't walk straight like the others. On the other hand, I do appreciate the tilting walk it has. It seems like they're trying to immitate that really cocky, shoulders raised and pushed forward walk of gorillas. It has a certain attitude about it. I like it. The raised bits on the foot make me think this was very intentional.
EDIT: Some more walk cycles have come out.
I'm rather disappointed that the arms go nowhere near the chest... On the other hand, it is the ONLY motorized action we've gotten like this for a gorilla, so that's awesome.
The Triceradogos. I really like the motorized actions for this one. The way the Wild Blast snaps into place is cool, as well as the very 'slow' withdrawal. Like first instinct is to stab, then just a slow "I'm watching you..." movement after it realizes it's a friend. I do agree it makes no sense though, haha. Maybe to lure them into a false sense of security, thinking they can get away from the stubbier horns? At first I thought the horn/shield were on a swivel, which would've made so much more sense for a Wild Blast, but tragically they're not.

Kong is still a definite no for me. I could probably do something with Uglyraptor. The trike definitely has potential.

I could preorder the 3 new Zoids but they seem to be bit more expensive than the midsized zoids from first wave even if the are all midsized motorized.

I'm hoping to pre-order them sometime during September, but we'll see how it goes.
As for the price, the Triceradogos is a bit larger than the current average sized Zoids. Iirc Stegosage will be as well, so they are a bit more expensive.
EDIT: Looks like Corocoro posted a new video introduction for the Knuckle Kong~ Interesting that the feet move up and down while it walks. There's also a lot more detail in the Wild Blast than I thought. It rocks back and forth, opens its jaws, everything to make it look like a movie monster. I am really impressed, and I would love if more Wild Blasts incorporated this 'different behavior' instead of just wiggling its weapon.
