Zoids Wild!!

I had a listen to this week's Wild Blast Radio, but there's not much to discuss. The presenters were the same as last week (Ami Koshimizu, Youji Ikuta and Kenta Suzuki), and this week's Zoids Lab animal was the chameleon (next week will be the stoat). The Bulletin Board segment mentioned the opening/ending singles and July model kits, but mostly consisted of the presenters getting to build a Kuwaga. For this week's Wild Blast Council, Ami Koshimizu suggested the Kuwaga build as a good Wild Blast moment. They also had two listener submissions: "Gardish's Old Friend" (a reference to one of the PlayStation games) talked about convincing his soon-to-be-wife to let him buy Zoids, while "Masked" talked about catching bugs in plastic bottles to get them out of the house without killing them. There was no Treasure Judges segment this week, but they did reveal the "rewards" for getting a submission featured on the program: badges of the Freedom, Supreme and Death Metal logos.

Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier, but Coro Coro is running a "Coro Tour" all across Japan. They'll be showing off the first eight Zoids Wild kits, but more importantly, they'll also be holding more building-experience events, which means more Rare White Kabtors (although they're still limited to children).

HLJ is saying that Grachiosaurus (and presumably Kuwaga as well) have been discontinued, in which case... what the? I'm very confused, and a little concerned, as I've already paid for mine so I have no idea if I'll actually get it or not, especially after Orion's trouble with HLJ earlier.

Discontinued on HLJ could simply mean that they aren't planning to restock them. They've been pretty actively advertising these two Zoids the past week on the official twitter, so I'd assume this is an HLJ-specific thing. Hopefully you'll still get yours, but could always mail in and ask~

Blast from the past; Darth Daniel says the distributors in Manila basically sold out of ZW kits immediately and have all re-ordered. From his point of view, TT hit the nail on the head with this line and in his region sales have buried projections. Not sure about other markets, however.

EDIT: In love with the 2 bugs, even if catalga is molga again.

Wolf is more than ok, totally love rex and Kong is soooo ugly, hahaha, but will buy it anyway.

Thanks as always Falcarius! Any idea why the 1080 has a huge frame drop around the time Gilraptor does his blast? The whole scene was jerky to begin with (that's just the way hey did the scene with Gil "shocking into" his blast) but when the Japanese text comes up, it just looks like 720 and when it stops it switches back to 1080?

Ah once again thanks for the subs, To think That Ooki was speaking English the whole time with his one liner! I was thinking he's like a pokemon or something. Weird nonetheless. And a bit of violence talk there was nice, that Drake slices his victims into pieces, and considering he almost sliced Arashi the anime could have gone from child friendly to Mature Audience rating very quickly. Oh and the fact he was going to torture Arashi, it's like the Dark side of Deathmetal is beginning to show. Yet their workers seem to be how can I say somewhat flambouyant out there characters.
And was right in thinking it looks like Gilraptor is in pain when the key was inserted.

New episode was interesting too. Wild Liger looked quite content to be serviced by Penne, Kinda wondering what that leaking fluid was though. Hydrolic fluid? Or the euivalent to zoid blood or something?? Also the more I watch the more I swear Wild Liger couldn't give a damm if Arashi is crushed by a boulder or not. Maybe Wild Liger is like well if Arashi can't survive by his own means he's not worthy of being my partner sorta thing. Fight scene was ok, though I'm finding personally like the fight scenes before wild blast is used. Once wild blast is used it's like all just flashy then quick slash and in this case it's over kinda thing. (maybe I just want the episode not to end)
