Also, ZPH posted this a bit ago (let's see if the link works from Facebook!): If they are listing the Brachiosaurus as "XL" I wonder what they will call ACTUAL large kits in the size category of Mad Thunder (if they ever go there) Just noticed; it seems the double sworder is the only kit that hasn't been listed here (excluding Death Rex). I wonder if that product will still make it to market?

Er, you don't mean the kuwaga, do you?

I think the Double Sworder kit might be #13... it is covered by an ad banner at the bottom. I am curious what plans they have for the line... will there be more bat-op kits or a windup focus in the future? The last series seemed to leave windups behind in favor of larger bat-op kits and non-motorized mini kits (Macurtis, et al).

The Zoids Official twitter just posted this picture of the upcoming event at Anime Japan. It shows us I believe some new characters, and possibly some new Zoid silhouettes? Looks like a smilodon type in one of the pictures. Given the Saber-style logo he also has, thinking we'll be getting one of those! Have we seen the logo before? I can't quite remember.

Yep, the sabre logo was on the beetle pic they linked a couple of weeks ago - linkAlso, it looks like said sabre's pilot's name is Bacon. The food names are getting ridiculous.

Er, you don't mean the kuwaga, do you? Looking at the image, it doesnt look like Kuwaga has the claws/teeth that Double Sworder has. it looks like a third insect zoid.

To me the silhouette is more like a triceratops like Geruder or a rhino. I don't see 6 legs in that shot, but it is great to see they aren't done revealing yet! The kitty definitely looks like a new Saber cousin.

Er, you don't mean the kuwaga, do you? Looking at the image, it doesnt look like Kuwaga has the claws/teeth that Double Sworder has. it looks like a third insect zoid. Is this is the one you are referring to as a Double Sworder? If so, it's the prototype Kuwaga in blue instead of the red shown on the ZPH image. If not, do you have a picture of the Double Sworded-Style kit? I am curious what plans they have for the line... will there be more bat-op kits or a windup focus in the future? The last series seemed to leave windups behind in favor of larger bat-op kits and non-motorized mini kits (Macurtis, et al). My personal hope that they keep a similar set-up to the status-quo, maybe adding a bit more bias towards the smaller wind-ups. 3 Small kits, 4 medium kits, 1 Large and 1 X-Large kit per wave seems reasonable enough to collect a few kits on a parent's budget. I feel like if they really push the bat-op kits and the corresponding price, there's much less of a impulse buy / kid convincing the purchase - at least from my personal experience. Back when Hasbro launched the NAR in '01, it was easier to have my parents get me a Basic or Deluxe kit (i.e. Gun Sniper or Command Wolf), but the more expensive kits like Liger Zero or Fury I had to save up my own money for.

The new silhouettes really makes me wonder if we'll be getting a new styracosaurus. It'd be awesome for them to go for another new type of dinosaur~ The head design of the smilodon from the silhouette almost looks like the Descat. I wonder how scrawny the final version will be?

So yay we have the anime release date! And another preview with the characters. Looks like it's set to air in July every saturday at 6:30pm.
On top of that seeing as the general public can now view the large liger there are lots of nice pics of it on twitter. And a free give away of zoids Beef Jerky for attendees to the booth at the expo. Specifying it is not zoids meat.

The jerky is amusing, and there are many strange possibilities on Zi. The lizard rabbits come to mind. Awesome to know when the anime starts!

It's going to be such an anxious wait with everyone on Twitter watching it first then us having to rush to find it online somewhwere, fingers crossed there'll be a reliable quick way to watch this. I'm so so excited, I'll be watching in a do not disturb trance.
And I'm sorry can you please refresh my memory on these lizard rabbits of zi? (though don't forget zoids wild will be on earth)

There are a decent number of third party sites that stream Japanese TV channels. Hopefully whatever channel Zoids Wild airs on will have one as well~
They were in Zoids Genesis somewhere, weird rabbit things with lizard tails. I don't think I could find it with so many episodes and no idea which one it was in.
I haven't forgotten, but if it's marked as a Zoids item it's still fun to joke around. Nevermind the fact that Earth animals can get way weirder than 99% of the ones shown on Zi~
