Do you have a link to this information? I'm very excited to learn more about the timeline. I fell in love with zoids as a child watching chaotic century, GF, and zero but when I saw the next installment was going to have fusions I decided to spare myself.

The whole "Globally III brings Zoidians and Zoid Cores back to Earth" thing was only mentioned in the Z-Knight storyline, which later Zoids media have generally ignored. Also, the Globally III returned to Earth in 2409 according to the Z-Knight backstory, whereas Zoids Wild is set in "20XX" and the ancestral core supposedly arrived "tens of thousands of years ago". I think we can probably assume that humans had nothing to do with bringing the Zoids Wild core to Earth, unless there's time-travel involved. I thought that human involvement in the Zoids universe was cannon. As a relaunch, they could refer to both the Zoids Graphics line and in the Zoids Concept Art collection, where it was the ship's self-repair AI that started bringing extinct Zi organisms back to life because it recognized them as repairable machines... and then began to incorporate Zoid DNA into itself. Also, ZPH posted this a bit ago (let's see if the link works from Facebook!): If they are listing the Brachiosaurus as "XL" I wonder what they will call ACTUAL large kits in the size category of Mad Thunder (if they ever go there)

CountScrubula, pretty much everything known about Zoids Wild so far is in this thread. If you mean the Z-Knight timeline, I don't think I've typed it up anywhere yet, but I can post it somewhere if you want. Maethius, it's always been canon (at least in the Battle Story/Concept Art universes) that humans were involved in creating the Zoids we're used to, it's just that they did so on Planet Zoid/Zi and never returned to Earth (except in the Z-Knight backstory). In the Battle Story universe (including the Monthly Graphics), Zoids evolved naturally and Zoidians came up with the concept of putting the Cores into artificial bodies, but it was humans who brought the advanced technology that transformed Combat Zoids into their more recognisable modern forms. In the Concept Art books, humans deliberately mixed genes of Earth animals into the super-primitive metallic lifeforms, which then rapidly evolved into wild Zoids (some of which were then reconstructed into more advanced "mechanical organisms" by Zoic-Noa's repair nanobots). It's nice to see names for the rest of the Zoids Wild critters - other than Gilraptor getting an extra L, they agree with what's been revealed so far, so I'd say we can probably trust these as the actual names (except possibly "Grachiosaurus" - it's in lowercase, unlike the others, and could potentially just be a misspelled "Brachiosaurus", as in Brachiosaurus-type). As for the size categories, the Brach kit already looked to be up there with giants like Madthunder... unless you're suggesting a 40-metre-long Zoid in 1/35-scale, which would be huge. Oh, and there's a couple more pictures on the official Twitter. Gilraptor's nickname seems to be the Gale Dragon Claw, and here are Gannontoise's details: Nickname?: Hidden Shell Features: Front Shell, Back Shell, Side Shell Stats: 3 Speed, 5 Attack, 8 IQ, 8 Stamina, 10 Defence, 8 Wild Blast Wild Blast Technique Name: Tortoise Light Cannon

Judging by that build video, I'm a bit underwhelmed with the engineering. I already suspected the legs were basically just one big unjointed chunk, and now it's confirmed. Walking motion looks like crap. Kind of disappointing that the engineering is actually a step back compared to even some 80s models. Detail looks sharp, though, but we'll see when we actually get our hands on these kits. As long as they're motorized, I'm buying at least one of every single one of them no matter what.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on at least one of them for certain. Granted the build on them might not be much of an issue since it's geared toward the younglings. However until it comes to clean up,customizing etc, That's where the fun is for the bigger younglings, namely us

The Zoids Official Twitter posted this teaser, saying to check the CoroCoro issue for more information on the comic! I've already got it on order, just hope it doesn't take too long to get here. It's already shipped! He looks like he's standing on a giant rex footprint! Death Rex maybe? Though I doubt we'll see him in the first comic. Nonetheless, looking forward to it! I think the style works just fine for a Zoids comic.

Anyone follow the news of ToysR'Us closing down, it may put a damper on potential US release of Zoids, as I know they carried more Zoids back then than Target or Wal-Mart. Think TT could setup a spot on Amazon, it could be a low overhead cost to start.

The TRU collapse has been pretty big industry news. The thing to remember about such this is this: any massive, market-rocking event like that is the end of one era and the beginning of another... there is already news of the rebirth of KayBee Toys to take TRU's slot in the market, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Amazon, Walmart, and Target are hunching like tigers for the kill to snap up the market share. One of them will declare themselves as having the largest selection of toys on earth, and we may stand to be the beneficiaries of the battle.

Earlier tonight it was announced that Kenshou Ono would be voicing Arashi, the main character. I only know him from one other role, but it seems like his acting is fairly consistent throughout most of his examples. A bit older sounding than I expected, but I'll take that over a more accurate, annoying younger voice.

OT : I already saw a TRU dye in France. We had two in Lyon, a long time ago, only one survived. They can thanks Amazon and other online seller...
After, it won't change anything if the new Zoids are planned to be released outside Japan. There will be toy shops, others, to make the distribution. Most of all if the anime and video game is exported too.

KB Toys may rise up following the TRU closing, so there could be a glimmer of hope for toy stores to come back.
