The only sprues they have in common (besides the basic Führer body) are J and L. Both of which are implemented into the Tyrann CAS, which otherwise has a completely new CAS design. So it shouldn't have any more 'extra' parts than your average HMM. Mostly things like PC parts, etc. And yeah, that's what I mean. Most "remodeled" Zoids in the motorized era came with their predecessors parts. For example, König Wolf HA came with the shoulder armor to still make a basic König Wolf. Sturm Tyrann came with the basic Führer parts to make this guy. It should still come with the basic body, though.

That's a lot sooner than I expected. The basic is 12,960 yen (about 3200 more than Furher.) Not a big surprise as therapods in general tend to be up there. I do see now though, why they made sure to note that the basic release doesn't come with the basic Führer parts. Because the Kotobukiya Direct release does! Priced at 15,984 Yen. (I'm assuming the 14,800 is the walk in store price. The price on site is different.) I may have to put my pre-order off until later and get the Koto Direct version. I really love the basic CAS in this scheme. Wonder if it'll have different box art? The CP unit is priced at 6,264 Yen~

I think this may just be a photography complication. It does have a visibly purple tint and when I photograph mine I get similar results. Koto prints a paint guide in their instruction books so you can paint over sprue marks, so they're probably able to get the exact color matching they need for the basic unit.

It seems there is less maroon, and all of the blacks parts have been recolored. Original here: www.geocities.ws/myrealdarkcorner/img53.jpg

I like the original scheme a lot better, compared to the HMM scheme. Thankfully it's not for a few months so there's time to recover from the holiday season. I'm really excited to see what the box art for both looks like, even if it turns out to be the same.
Unfortunately I doubt they'll package it with the kit. They didn't do that for the pearl CAS either. It'd be nice, though. The lack of it makes me think they prooobably didn't fix up the knees, so be prepared to add some buffer to those knee joints!

They should release an artbook with all the boxarts. I got the one that came with the molgas model kit.

Ohh, that is wonderful~ I actually like this scene being used since it's the defining moment when they became their new personas. I like the stormy atmosphere, too. The muted colors really bring out the red.
