It is Koto Direct only. You would have to go through a 3rd party or go directly to Japan.

Frequently these limited editions do show up on ebay. Proxy services like FromJapan (I used it to get the Liger Zero Empire) are good, but if you really for some reason want to avoid them, just continue to scour ebay for a few more weeks after the release. The price you pay for buying it via ebay (everyone marks up, they are running a business too!) is extremely similar to using a proxy service anyway.

How much do you think shipping will cost when the Storm Sworder Ala Barone Ver. comes out?

Because I always use ems for Zoids, you just asked roughly how much shipping is and I'm telling and you question me?

Empirewolf is right. EMS for average sized Zoid boxes (think: HMM Liger Zero CAS size) are usually around $50 EMS to the United Stats. That being said, since it's a Kotobukiya Direct exclusive, you may or may need need to pay an additionall $5-$8 domestic shipping fee from Kotobukiya.

I hope you guys are right. The Storm Sworder Ala Barone Ver. costs 10,584 on Kotobukiya Direct so it might be more than $50 though.

It should still be in the $50 range, give or take a few dollars. Ordering through Kotobukiya Direct makes these limiteds feel quite a it more expensive when you're missing the store discounts. This is more apparent when Kotobukiya Direct raises the web store prices, the retail price is for their walk-in store purchases. In reality though, the kits usually aren't much bigger/heavier, and should still have similar shipping.
For example, the Berserk Furher is 8,800 yen at Retail. On Kotobukiya Direct, it is 9,504. The shipping was still only 4,509 Yen, I believe. That's not mentioning that it's 500+ parts, compared to the basic Storm Sworder's modest 250 or so parts. The limited shouldn't add much, so hopefully shipping is on the lower end.

Shipping is based on physical attributes such as weight and box dimensions so it's highly likely Empirewolf is correct. Proxy services will add money. I used FromJapan and the price didn't come out too much higher than non limited purchase via Hobby Search which is my usual go-to.

If your order from FromJapan it'll be $8 domestic shipping charge plus the $50 plus their service charge which is roughly 5-8$ depending if you got insurence so you'll prolly be close to $70 for shipping on ara storm sworder

When I pre-ordered the Liger Zero Empire Ver. for 6,264 yen, EMS shipping cost about 5,000 yen.

Yeah. The EM came with an unprecedented number of extra parts so was a few bucks more than its counterpart. It included every armor sprue in both red and gold, which bumps up the weight of the box.

If anyone finds anything please post here
