As mentioned previously, each Zoid has one of four "Roles". Fighters (Shield Liger and Dibison) have boosted attack strength against enemy Small Zoids, so you should send them out in front to do hit-and-run attacks on your opponent's Small Zoids and protect your bases, but be sure to keep an eye on their health. Attack from within the forest when possible, since Small Zoids won't attack you and players will have trouble finding you. Commanders (Command Wolf and Iron Kong) boost the attack strength and HP of nearby ally Small Zoids, so keep them just behind a set of Small Zoids to help them take down enemy bases. Destroyers (Saber Tiger and Geno Saurer) have boosted attack strength against enemy Player Zoids, so send them exploring to destroy enemies and protect allies wherever they're needed (Destroyers are also useful against Large Zoids). Supporters (Red Horn and Gordos) boost the HP and defence of nearby ally Player Zoids, so they should stick close to other players and back them up as much as possible. Ah now I fully understand those roles, i've seen the terms floating around but now it clicks. Thanks for the vast amount of information, extremely useful!

I like the cinematic. Its' fine. The news even got picked up by crunchyroll! Still , this game is just...whatever.
Let's hope this game really only exists to reintroduce the Zoids IP. I heard some rumblings about a new Zoids project in 2018, paired with a second piece of info that if we don't see anything by 2018, then the "project" is probably scrapped.
...Considering the latter part of the statement, this is effectively useless information XD

Has anyone figured out how to do a claw attack, I've seen shield ligers and command wolves do it, I have no idea how and it's driving me nuts not knowing.

You need to equip something. So it consumes a weapon slot. Not sure what though (I think it's the plate-like things). If you don't spend real money on this one you get nothing, no free-per-day money neither free-money-boxes. Basically you get no ingame money unless you pay real money. In that situation there is really nothing in this game you can do since (let's be honest) the MP gets boring so fast (one map, no variation at all).

Earning is a drag, for sure. Though, you do get free containers. Not that they are hard to earn. I expect they'll make this easier, but probably not before the sale.
I notice I can't seem to get weapons to equip, even if my 'cost' isn't at max, and I unequip all weapons (can only use certain ones.) Are they limited per Zoid?

I notice I can't seem to get weapons to equip, even if my 'cost' isn't at max, and I unequip all weapons (can only use certain ones.) Are they limited per Zoid? You can't get the weapons to equip? Are you saying you can't fill the three circles? Or you can't equip the weapons you want to equip? I haven't noticed much yet, I do know that I couldn't take the command wolfs rail gun and use it on the shield Liger. Very select weapons are for certain zoids only definitely. But I seem to have replicas of the same looking weapon and it is confusing me, why can't I sell weapons for money, or metal. Everything needs metal, it's worse than not having money. Earning is indeed a drag, undoubtedly deliberate. I bought on of those supporter premium ticket things, apparantely more containers turn up or something, I hope. I instantly felt like I was playing a gambling machine and this is an evil taking advantage of our passion. And what's your name on there btw? Han, Hanyoutai, ハン? I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Metal is not the problem that much. Metal you get free in-game in some quantity. Problem is coins. You get none of them. I wanted to try out the Geno or something but you don't have money to even get it in the 50% cut price version and I've not seen a single coin yet anywhere else than spending real money.
Concerning equip problem, perhaps it is because of placement. Each weapon has a tiny placement indicator. It looks like a 4-way button pad and indicates if the weapon occupies the top, left, right or bottom slot. Obviously you can not put more than one weapon in the same spot.

I think you may be right; it could be the placement. I'll take a closer look at this later. Hopefully gold has better options later.
I was also curious if anyone understands gray weapons? Does pairing a red weapon with a red slot give a ++ bonus? If so, does pairing exclusive weapons with red slot only give a single + bonus? Is it worthwhile to upgrade silver weapons, if specialties are so strong?
You can sell weapons with the 3rd Lab button. They sell for about 20 metal each for commons.
I end up playing my 2nd account more (Finrandi) since my main account (Han) is on the desktop and I'm usually working when I'm on there. Unfortunately Finrandi has ... horrible luck. Won maybe one in 30 battles, and wasn't able to get a screenshot of that solitary victory. On my desktop I win almost all battles, but I'm not doing anything differently. I wonder why?
Probably going to start a post in the Videogames section for game updates. Need to actually pull the text first.

There is no red, green or blue slot as far as I get it. You can equip all red, green or blue type weapons if you want to. I had at the beginning red+green+green and now red+green+blue but that's about it.
The winning stance is not really interesting: howling upwards and some anim-é-esque effect. Pretty basic and simple.

All right, thanks! I suppose that makes sense for the weapons. I need to figure out what kind of % silver weapons lose. It's hard to know what to upgrade.
I know the winning stance, but I was just so proud of my little crap bucket for doing ~something~ right. That's why I wanted a screenshot. My 1st account C Wuf has no problem steamrolling through missions, for whatever reason. It's technically weaker than the one that loses all the time.

A small d-pad placement indicator? Well that's news to me too, I'm going to go take a closer look now.
So you were winning on your desktop Han? How did you go operating the controls? For me it was the complete opposite.I found it horrible inconvenient having to move the mouse curser from the map to the weapons and kept dying/losing. Then on the mobile I found it much easier and started going much better just being able to hold it like a controller. I figured out how to screen record entire battles on the mobile which I definitely could not do on the laptop so I'm very happy in that regard. I miss nothing now.
One thing I cannot seem to obtain are those parts required for the zoids upgrade. (still don't know how it's any different from a level up) I asked on twitter and someone basically replied saying they are obtained from containers when you win, I've won quite a few battles but still not seen a single one.

Yes, it is very inconvenient to play with the desktop. So on top of having a weaker wolf, I am handicapped by the controls, and STILL winning. My poor mobile wolf must have a bum leg. The controls on mobile are way easier since you're not limited to the little control pad.
What do you use to screen record on the tablet?
The parts do indeed come from containers. I found a single part (Red) from maybe 20 containers I've opened so far.

I found a single part (Red) from maybe 20 containers I've opened so far. I have a samsung Galaxy 7 Edge I literally only bought two days ago. I was delighted to find the technology inbuilt to the phone. This tutorial explains it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwxkLXW9WY8 If it's not inbuilt to your device I'm sure there's apps you can download for it. Oh good so it's true the parts come from containers, relieved to know. Maybe they'll be easier to obtain after this update. A small d-pad placement indicator? Well that's news to me too, I'm going to go take a closer look now. Oh THAT thing, so that's what it is! I honestly saw it but didn't have a clue what it was. Just a placement thing I see, understood. Thanks!
