I've been keeping an eye on the progress of this game being created by someone on Twitter. It's a bit of a Super smash Bros style game. Needing some translations. Is this page telling us the game is ready now and available for purchase? enty.jp/gelmo This is their twitter page with the link up top to a video of the gameplay. twitter.com/gelmo0079

The game's still at the alpha stage, that page is basically like Patreon. You can keep track of their progress and download alpha builds on their blog. (I have to admit, it's really addictive.)

Okay that makes sense then. Download alpha builds? what does that mean, play some of the game? If so are you maybe able to screen shot showing me where to click? I tried a few links blindly and ended up on some shopping websites and porn.

An alpha is a playable but unfinished version of a game (compared to a beta, which is mostly finished besides bug-fixing). To download it, go here (beware of NSFW ads), click the button underneath the text box, then click the "start download" link (you may also have to click the "こちら" link if the download doesn't start automatically).

Thanks so much for that. Big help. Found it, and oh god what is with those ads. They make it feel like I'm about to download a virus.
Downloaded and unzipped the file still can't play the thing though, Probably don't have the necessary software installed. Did you have to use a specific program to run the thing?

I know it runs on Windows 7, haven't tried it on anything else (and I can't find any "system requirements"-type list). It may need Japanese system locale to run - if so, AppLocale would probably work too.

Rename the files from the japanese gibberish to something like "zoidsrush" or so (keep the extensions). Then it should work (with an error dialog about wave loading but you can disregard this one). The controls though seem broken unless you have a game pad attached. It even runs under WineHQ and that means something

With further research I found what may work is downloading the Japanese language pack in windows and changing the system locale in the administration settings to Japan which I also tried still nothing. All up I spent a good couple of hours trying different things and am now just frustrated with what should not even be a problem in the first place. I don't want to burden others with my problem, Just hoping though when the final product is released it will somehow work.

W10 is not an OS it's cancer. If you can run W7 (for example using VirtualBox or dual-boot) this should help. Otherwise see if you manage to run the application using compatibility mode. Sometimes this can help.

Progress video number 10 is up: www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm28207792 Wow a lot is being said , very busy both vocally and on screen there is always something to look at. And it has a bizarre little moment at the 5 minute mark.

Well, It looks like this game is just about complete now: enty.jp/en/posts/10846 I downloaded the latest version and it is now working great. Currently poking blindly at things admittedly a little lost in translation with the menu. Slowly Working it out with trial and error. Is that a controller to be used with the game?? I'm kinda scratching my head because it looks like a very early model playstation controller So far keyboard controls I have worked out space bar= begin game/pause. X = Jump W= strike laser claw A= regular claw attack D=Pounce forward (all for liger zero anyway) I think i've tried every key on the keyboard but if anyone discovers any I missed please do let me know

That's the exact layout of the old PS1 controllers, so I'm guessing so? I have a PS>USB adapter somewhere. Will have to find it and give this game a shot.

Oh that would be great if you could try it out, I didn't even know controller adaptors could be bought, that would save me buying an entire controller.

I don't get it why people force console controllers onto players of a PC game. We are living in 2016. Modifiable button mappings are the norm (no... a must-have). :/

The text at the bottom of that screenshot says that you can view and edit the keyboard controls in the Keyboard Settings menu (設定 -> キーボード設定). As for the gamepad controls, they look like they should map to pretty much any Playstation/Xbox controller. Here's a quick translation of the controls in case anyone needs it: D-pad: Move (or scroll through armour) 1: Jump (or select armour) 2: Sidestep 3: Light attack 4: Heavy attack 5: Roar 6: Sub-weapon 8: Open/close F-CAS menu 12: Purge blast
I'm also curious about the "Command Techniques" and "Special Controls" menu options, but I don't have a copy of the game at the moment. ...I wonder if you can still levitate by spamming one of the buttons?
