Also, kinda sorry for being such a downer, but you gotta think about such things when designing really big zoids. Yeah you are. I think you got the focus wrong at this stage. I'm building a physical model, not writing a story about it .. Yet. I could say "oh he is indestructible" to make all your arguments invalid lol. Also I don't quite understand how my designs would alter from the inclusion of a "shield system" if you are to translate this said system into an actual physical part I can fabricate. In fact I might not even have to add anything since this system is coded inside its operating procedures isn't it? Plus I haven't gone into weapons department yet. So yeah, tell me I used wrong parts/ awesome parts, proportions incorrect /porportions spot on etc etc at this stage. We can save the fictional discussions later when I'm writing the story for him. |

Okay. ANd I'm more pointing out a weakness found in all large zoids. And Most eshields are build into the head from what is seen in the models and anime. Or into the X-Breakers of Geno Saurer. I like the design it's jsut that when finishing him up I'd see to addressing some of the weaknesses.
ANd if my guess is correct, you mounted those D-Stinger claws to swing forward? Those aren't the main claws so don't ahve guns, but that does open up a lot of options, and you have the entire back mounted thermal laser array from the Brastle in there. I think I see some options of what you might be planning to do He does look really great though. What feet are you going to use on him. THat's more of an engineering problem, need them big enough so he can stand easily but also the right shape. Also, I'd ahve opened that back unit for the front profile strike pic but that's just my taste then again for all I know you ahve a surprise that involves it's deployement mechanism you don't want to reveal yet.

Cos I'm also deciding if it's gonna have a tail and how it's gonna look like lol. For one,it can't be lizard like (which is in abundance in the zoids universe). It will most likely have to be "fat" like the tails you see on the wolf model zoids. But those are too short for this guy unless I'm combining multiple tails to achieve that. the tails also need to have a certain function like an instant deploy weapon or something for it to be worth having that tail. |

The tail could possibly be a detachable blade/sword weapon maybe? Sounds neat but I'm not sure how that would look. You could also maybe take something like a geno tail and mount it in reverse to get a bushy tail look. Hmmm. You're making me wish I had more parts and stuff to make some customs now!

Brastle tail might get you half of what you need. And I like something like the net gun on the Shadow Fox or similar, maybe add blades if you want. A tail might really even be harder than feet to find that would work good...unless you make it from scratch or mostly scratch. But you're right, all or nearly all large and XL zoids like GOjulas and this guy have a weapon in their tail.

You're making me wish I had more parts and stuff to make some customs now! lol go for it! parts can be made! yeah im leaning towards a blade again since i wanted this guy to have primarily bladed weapons. but most likely not detachable. i always envisioned tails to have this sneak attack capability. right now its just about how to bring in that feature without changing the intended lines of the build too much. i have a number of saix tails and shadow fox tails though. time to set tail component in motion lol. |

THis where I want to say "why not both" if you have Blade Liger blades spare. Or Zero X electron driver/stun blades. Though the latter might be too bulky for a tail and would make a better arm mount. I like your Idea with thew Saix tail, it's longer and has a good structure for a base thanathe Brastle tail, it will probably be pretty cool when your done either way you go. |

If I may make a suggestion, why not use a battle cougar tail? It coul work as a blade too, if heavily modified.  it is the closest I can think of to a werewolf tail. And it is more common to find than using the parts you have.....you can always sell them to make he money back too lol. |
