That looks wicked... like a cross between a werewolf and a black widow spider... or a deadly squid. ^_^ I've always loved this piece, and I can't wait to see its final form! (That is assuming, of course, that it has a final form!) Wonderful work! Aww thanks dude!! im in the dreaded sanding phase of this... and i RREEAAALLLLYYYYY wanna finish this up bad.... Wow great build! Love the silhouette it creates. Very cool use of parts. Does it have arm and leg articulation still or did you opt to fix it in this pose? The pose is fixed. but i can move the wrist, elbows, fingers, feet and weapons gorrrgeous. the proportions seem strange but the joints are SUPER nice lol Thanks dude. Its probably the angle of the shot.. it kinda looks like its legs are too short in some of the pics..

Sometimes the hardest stretch of a custom is about 10% from the end. You've been working on it so long, you just want to paint it and stick it together, admire it and move one! BUT if you do, you will see it as an unfinished piece forever.... stay with it, and give it that finish it deserves!

I think that the black with purple will suit this build well; it could also use a dark red as a highlight color in place of the purple, but so far it is looking quite good. I think a matte surface also fits this one. Two thumbs up!

hahah yeah.. this bluish purple fade makes it look really evil lol.. Working with standard acrylic spray cans now since everything here is still under lockdown.. cant access any proper tamiya paints... real bummer.

Have you thought about ordering them? You can get quality paints through places like Gundam Planet, I believe. I know chemicals have some tough restrictions in places, though.

WICKED! That flat-matte contrasts so well with the metallic fleck, I hope you don't lose either in the final coat! Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of super-flat colors, but that totally rocks the house! I also feel the two-tone gradient for the purple was a solid choice.

Finally got the legs painted!!! Had a major screw up when the base coat cracked on the legs... took a few days to rectify it and it seems reasonably concealed now hahaha... will tidy up the edges then spray on the matt coat. Hopefully no more screw ups....

Just look at the quality difference between the purple leg armor and the coated purple on the arm! You HAVE to be pleased with how this custom is turning out!
