I'd have repainted the Yellow Zaber with red over the yellow to make a Zaber Fang Raven But people keep saying improvement? What was weong with the Shield liger one? other than the tail connector which apparently sucks so bad it slowly deteriorates?

There were only some minor things, for example you have to unfold all the head flaps for it to actually function, though for me I couldn't even get that to work, I had to remove the back armor too. For me, I had some struggling with the front leg mechanics due to peg size vs hole, but nothing too bad. The Saber Tiger had none of these problems, so that's what I mean by improvement anyway, it's not to say the Shield Liger is a bad model~

Looks good but the price and if it doesn't move well...I dunno if it'd be worth the cost.

If you can get it for the original price (I think I paid $60+shipping) then it is worth it in my opinion, but I wouldn't pay more than that for that particular kit.

Weird that this thread was so quiet, was that because of the Shield Liger's faulty design or because of that one that not many people wanted the Sabre? Because even when they cancelled the line it was really quiet around here.

The Saber Tiger is actually tons better than the Shield Liger in my experience, it sits together better and the functions work pretty fluidly.

Weird that this thread was so quiet, was that because of the Shield Liger's faulty design or because of that one that not many people wanted the Sabre? Because even when they cancelled the line it was really quiet around here. I dont have issues with my Shield Liger. What's faulty? I recently built mine (as I did not want to, reading all the issues...) AND of course I also have the same roar crap.. It kind of works (kind of as in sometimes) IF I remove the gun armor.. And even then it still doesn't always. It's simply because of the walking cycle, not ending in the same position, so the leg is in a different position most of the times. If the left front leg is straight it works, but if it's more to the front it will get caught on that (yes like with everybody, even with the manes open..) And even if you would switch it off at the right moment, the next time it begins the cycle from the top and so it will get caught again.. The gun armor just makes it.. well.. even worse.. Anybody ever find a good solution (other than considering throwing it against the wall, proverbially speaking)? Building it was fun, it looks nice, but seeing it "walk" takes out all the fun..

Thanks empirewolf13, no the sabers indeed don't, but this was about my Shield Liger (as a reply to the previous asked question above)
