Figsuko has posted a first look at the prototype for the Masterpiece Saber Tiger! Another viewing angle is posted by Hobby Search, along with photos of the box art for the Shield Liger. Which is, sadly, pretty unimaginative. AmiAmi has a better view of the face.

All 3 links redirect me to twitter....dont see the boxart.
I really want to hold off on the Masterpiece Zoids...I want to see what the 3rd Zoid in the line is, and then I can make a decision about which one I will purchase.

All 3 sources are twitter links. This should work even if you do not have a twitter account. What errors are you running into?
The box art is in the Hobby Search link. It is a plain black box with the Shield Liger. Hopefully this is just a placeholder but I somehow don't get that impression.

Arrrghhhh, I only have so much money and so much time to build kits! Can't wait to see some higher quality images.
Now I'm kinda wondering what other Zoids they could possibly make with that standard frame.

Glad to see the face isn't as ugly as the Dengeki Hobby pic And I have to say, it's good to see them making plans beyond the first model. Now let's just hope number 3 is something more interesting than Liger Zero...

There's a report on the Tokyo Toy Show here with more pictures, including the back of the box... and teaser art for Concept Art IV, due for release this autumn!

Concept Art IV brings me pain. Will it still be the RZ-007- If they give it a proper differentiating name now, it will still be the Concept Art Shield Liger that is named Shield Liger. My heart yearns for proper variation names. They will likely not exist. On the other hand, I'll be happy to see some more Zoids brought into the universe. *feels stupid for wanting to buy when I almost sold my collection of the others once already, but*
Aside from that though, I am surprised these books are continuing. I'm glad but Zoids is at a strange position right now, where the media universe (Original series, etc.) does not match up to any current figure line. Unless you count threezero, which I would, but I'm not sure if they've mentioned continuing Zoids past the Kong? I just find it peculiar, that they do not have any active toy lines for game/book Zoids. Now, books may be moving back towards the original Zoids.

Why even bother with these concept art books
TT has essentially abandoned everything from the 30th Anniversary...no point...

The Concept Art series has been going since 2010, and it's still got Material Hunters and the threezero figures as tie-ins. The 30th anniversary stuff was basically just the four Zoids Original models and the Zoids SS interquel that formed their backstory - so pretty similar to the 25th anniversary (Rebirth Century), really.
Whether Takara Tomy will be allying the Masterpiece line with the Concept Art series or the NJR Battle Story (or even Chaotic Century) remains to be seen... (Yes, Concept Art IV is using the Masterpiece Shieldy design, but Zoid designs get borrowed from other continuities all the time.)

I can't decide if it'd be more or less strange if they decided not to. Threezero, we don't know if it is still in the running. They announced Shieldy and Iron Kong at the same time and we haven't heard anything more from them. That was over a year ago, though the Iron Kong's release date was recent (was it delayed? I feel like it was back in May but I haven't seen anyone posting about it)
If they chose not to, then the medias would all continue to do their own thing, while the toy lines went in another direction. Which is what I find interesting. That they are not playing off of each other as actively as they could. It adds more variety but it is also a shame not to see more of the unique universe Zoids.
