Thanks for the translations! 'Powerful' and 'Ceramic' seem like an oxymoron, but good luck to the little Pandos! The design is kind of strange, and reminds me of a Zoids Alternative styled Command Zoid of some sort. I'm slowly updating a post over here with links to twitter posts that contain screencaps. The Jager boosters look awesome on a lot of these Zoids, and it's cool seeing what variables you can affect. Helcat with Dibison Guns: Canonfodder no more!

Trying that one out with an emulator might proof difficult. It contains only ARMv7 version of the unity game engine and emulating ARMv7 android on PC is slooooooooooooooow. That is unless there is an x86 android version around but I've not seen one like this yet.
Furthermore... average score of 2.2 out of 5 on playstore with 3x the votes on the worst score... I guess this speaks for itself about the quality of the game.

Sweet! How does it run? And did the pre-registration code work if you got one?

SUCCESS.I just spent most of my evening playing Material Hunters instead of doing uni work >_> Here's how I'm finding it so far... Pros: - The 2D graphics are really pretty, and the 3D ones are pretty good for a mobile game - The songs are cool (although there's only about 5) - The energy system (so far) isn't as restrictive as in many mobile games, since it gets dished out quite generously - Even Non-Japanese-speakers shouldn't have much trouble figuring out how to play - So far, everything can theoretically be obtained without spending money - There are a handful of achievements, which let you get more Zoid Gold - The difficulty is fairly low, but not boringly easy (I've failed a couple of times, and come this close on one level) - Emulating it means I can use the keyboard instead of finger flicks - It's a new Zoids game. With new Zoids. And it's free. Cons: - The in-game "story" has so far amounted to a whole four sentences - The gameplay is... what we've seen already. Over and over, with slightly different enemies. (Although it's still more interesting than the Bonds of Steel "combat" ) - Judging from the achievements, there may well only be two or three types of boss (Ultrasaurus, Triceratops and possibly Yellow Molga) - At my current rate, I could probably play through all the (non-Cloud) content in a few days, but would need to replay it for weeks or months to get enough Material for fancy evolutions - Your default hangar can only hold two Zoids. Want more space? Spend Zoid Gold. Want more Zoids to fill it? Spend Zoid Gold. - All Material besides Zoidonium ore is ridiculously rare (I've beaten three islands and still haven't found any) and can't even be bought - Ditto for new Zoids, except you can buy them... and which one you get is decided by a Wheel of Fortune system >_< - There's no equipment or items (besides Material and Zoid Gold) - you change a Zoid's "equipment" by evolving it (which is irreversible and requires Material) - You have to be connected to the internet to play, but interaction with other players is limited to (automatically, randomly) borrowing their Zoids as backup - Half the islands are G-cluster exclusives (plus they get higher drop rates and potentially multiplayer) - Accounts are locked to a single device, so you'd better hope your phone doesn't get lost/damaged/etc. - I suspect the finger-flicking is going to get really annoying for many players - There are only ten players with a Pandos, and they can't be bought or traded (although more will probably show up in future events) - The English text (mainly island names and Material descriptions) is... not very well translated (Oh, and while we're talking about mobile games, I recently came across a transcript of the Zoids VS. i storyline, which I'm incredibly happy about. I haven't finished reading it yet, but it's... interesting.)

So you managed to get it running on PC? Managed to get AndyOS working or something fancy? All the android emulators I tried so far are either horribly slow due to emulating ARMv7 or plain out show only black screen (AndyOS for example).

I used BlueStacks (plus 1Mobile Market to download the game) - it can get pretty laggy, but it's still playable (and it's not like I wanted this game for the gameplay anyway... ) GenyMotion sounds like it could work pretty well, but BlueStacks was the first thing I tried, and it worked.

I wanted to give GenyMotion a try myself (especially for my game engine testing) but you need to register your email and stuff like that before getting a watered down free version. I don't like this too much though. I'll see what BlueStacks looks like out of curiosity.

edit: scrap the help advice, got it working! Thanks a bunch Falcarius for posting the needed tools!
Sadly didn't get my preregistration code. I fear it got sucked into the spam folder and automatically deleted. Ah well.

I'm having a lot of trouble with getting 1Mobile Market onto bluestacks. I installed the apk file and I can see it listed on the downloaded applications under the application manager; but when I search for it it doesn't show up and it's not under any of the categories. This is driving me insane I tried nearly everything I could think of to launch the program. Can I get some help with this?

No need to deal with 1mobile market to install (failed for me too, crappy app). You can install the APK directly with a double click (see PM).

I haven't finished reading it yet, but it's... interesting.) Hurrr... I may have jumped the gun using the same google account I have tied to my ipad. Not that it isn't fun on pc, just laggy. On the flip side, the 'finger-flicking' via stylus (and tablet-hybrid pc) isn't bad. Seems a little more responsive to how far left and right I want to go compared to the keyboard. The forward-physical attack on the bosses gets a little confusing though, keyboard or stylus. And because I rarely have such luck with game random starters- -happy Liger roar. (You can tap your zoids in the hangar to make them do two little actions; Liger's is roar and pounce) That VS i storyline is an awesome find! Edit: Welp, seems I have to level up a bit more to get off the 7th island and onto the 8th. How do you evolve your Zoids once you have the Materials? Looks like there's one evolution get without spending Zoids Gold but nothing happens when I click it?

Sadly didn't get my preregistration code. I fear it got sucked into the spam folder and automatically deleted. Ah well. Everyone who entered their email address on the official site should have got the email with the code on Friday. How quickly does your spam folder delete emails? Hurrr... I may have jumped the gun using the same google account I have tied to my ipad. Not that it isn't fun on pc, just laggy. I think you can download it as many times as you like, it's just that Material Hunters logs you in automatically based on your device, so if you try to play it on something different you'll have to start again from scratch. That's why I haven't redeemed my White Tiger yet, in case I start using a different emulator or something. Welp, seems I have to level up a bit more to get off the 7th island and onto the 8th. How do you evolve your Zoids once you have the Materials? Looks like there's one evolution get without spending Zoids Gold but nothing happens when I click it? I'm assuming you already evolved your Zoid to level 2 back on the first island, while the game is showing you how everything works (that's the one that only requires 1 Zoidonium ore, for Molga at least). Later evolutions need certain amounts of the correct Materials (it looks as though you can buy Zoidonium with Zoid Gold, but not Rednium) and the Zoid has to be above a certain level. If you've met the requirements, you should be able to click your evolution of choice to bring up its stats screen, then click the greenish button on the left to evolve it. A couple of other gameplay details that might not be immediately obvious: - When your SP gauge is full, you can trigger your special attack with a "long tap" (hold until the whole SP bar goes shiny, then release). - Once you complete an island, it generates 1 Energy per second, which you can collect by tapping the Energy icon on that island. - Whenever another player borrows one of your Zoids as support, you automatically get 100 Energy (you will probably get notified about this a lot). - If you don't like one of the randomly-assigned support Zoids, you can tap the green button above it to get a different one. - New Zoids go to your Present box, not your hangar. If you leave them in the Present box for more than a month, they'll be deleted. - Remember to check the Achievements screen every so often to claim any rewards you might have unlocked. - Completed islands can be recaptured by enemies. To get them back, you only need to beat the boss stage (and it won't let you play the other stages anyway). Feel free to ask if there's other stuff you're unsure about, but note that I've only finished 3 islands and I'll need to focus on uni work rather than games for a while...

About once a week, but I don't have any emails under promotional, social, or standard mail. Unfortunately it's one of those things that I probably can't do anything about.
I decided to roll the dice on another Zoid since it was only $3 for that extra one. Even if you have both hangar slots full, you can still roll the wheel if you have enough Zoid Gold, and get the extra Zoid. It goes to your present box, so you can choose which of your 3 Zoids you want to get rid of after that point.
I got the Command Wolf on my cash roll, which was great. The only thing I possibly could've wanted more is /maybe/ the White Tiger, but that's still a bit maybe.
On a related note, though, I'm very interested in gathering screenshots for The Iron Bible to use. I probably won't pay anymore cash to play roulette, so by chance if anyone gets the chance, could they provide screenies of their Zoid and its evolutions as they're unlocked? I have Molga and Command Wolf. Still need evolution images for everything else.
