I've been trying to commission a jointed one so those pictures make me super excited but I'll need to figure out how to get my hands on one without the box set.

The coloration on that Death Stinger is interesting. That's not a color scheme we've seen before.

The coloration on that Death Stinger is interesting. That's not a color scheme we've seen before. I think it's actually a variation on the Yuji Kaida Death Stinger, just with a darker grey.

The only similarity to the ZS is the placement of the secondary red armor, which is the same as the normal DS, so I don't think it could be called a variation. I suspect they muted the blues to downplay the 'toy' look associated with bright red and blue combos. I hope it'll be at least a couple shades more blue in person but I'm interested to see how close it sticks to the concept art.

It seems the 1/100 Murasame Liger was previewed in DHM. Supposedly, this is a standard color? Not sure if it's the 'special color' mentioned in the blu-ray.

Never seen the actual ZS before, the box artwork always gave me the impression it was pale grey and red, not blancmange pink and red.
Still a variation though, it seems that the Tomy ZS and DS as well as the new HMM all have the same type of pattern just with a pallett swap between them.

Um, the ZS is tan with red legs, while the HMM artwork is dark slaty blue with black legs. It's literally just a muted version of the original DS colours. In actual news, apparently the new line is called Zoids Aggressive, or ZA for short. ...Oh, and yesterday's Dengeki Hobby issue is apparently the last issue of Dengeki Hobby ever I should have grabbed some of the early issues sooner, something tells me prices are about to start climbing...

...Woah really- I never would've expected DHM to end so soon. Nobody really covers HJM as much as DHM. I sure hope that we continue to see Zoids content in magazines. I've heard Great Mechanics has some content but I'm not sure of the extent of it.
Is the stand with the ZA Murasame a Koto Direct exclusive, or can you get it regardless of where you order?

Yep, looks like the stand and the stickers are both "Kotobukiya Shop Limited".
At the moment, it's scheduled for an October 2015 release for 5800 yen.

Preorders are up for the ZA Murasame, and we finally have a picture of the "special colour" version. Unfortunately it won't be transparent - instead it's going to be metallic teal, in an attempt to better match the anime colours. Also, they're apparently planning for both the Fuzors and Genesis Blu-ray Boxes to include "bonus footage", although I suspect it'll be something like the 2-minute Blade Liger clip from the CC Box.

Wow... didn't see the demise of DHM coming, either! Sad time for the hobby.

I wonder if that will change the volume of material presented, or if they will scale back to what they already post? The online articles usually omit a lot of stuff from the Zoids side of things. That's a lot better than nothing, though. I'm glad we'll still see stuff from them! And of course, this saves on shipping.
