I thought that kit came with the gat? Is this a different gun?

Yeah, I can't see anything different to the normal Dark Horn.

Yes, but the sign on the left says "Beam Gatling Set, planned for sale in 2015". Not sure if there's anything special about the gatling or if it's just a way to get one without buying a whole Dark Horn/Saber Tiger SS.

The Beam Gatlings have always been pretty popular with the idea of doubling up the gatling guns. Maybe the separate release will include parts to make the double-gat version? Of course that's just blind guessing. I'm really hoping this'll mean a re-release of the Dark Horn. I have the Harry version and I was really surprised how much I liked it, since I've never been a fan of red horns. It'd be great to have the silver version.

Technically, it has become a discussion thread and should be moved to general. Also, like Pheno said, any time a new subject comes up a new thread should be started so it doesn't get lost. However, a ZP leftover was the Koto thread, which basically traced all things Kotobukiya. Technically, you won't lose pertinent data in the product line if it posted here.

This was already being discussed so I thought it fit here better than a new thread? Especially since it's not really -new- new stuff. AmiAmi has posted pre-orders for the Beam Gatling Set which, ironically, requires customization to work with the Zoid it's taken from. I'm hoping it'll be painted different from the kit because that looks fantastic. On a similar note they're rereleasing the Dark Horn in late August.

Really wish they would release a silver version of the CP as well so that you could double up with the Iron Kong Schubaltz version

Back to the gat. I believe it is being sold to supplement the one that comes with the dark horn in order to provide the double gat configuration. The "customization" noted above is just mirroring the instructions that will come with the gat. From what I can tell it will be provided with the right shoulder side instructions so to get it to work with your current dark horn, yes, you will have to make it different than what the instructions say, but mirroring instructions is something I think we can all handle here haha.

That just looks damn impressive. I like it a hell of a lot more than the beam gun.
Hard to decide what I like more; Harry's Dark Horn or the regular Dark Horn with Double Gatling.
All I know for sure is that I have no reason to ever buy a HMM Red Horn.

I'm very strongly considering getting the Dark Horn and Beam Gattling in August. I just need somewhere to put the damn thing....

Many new pictures of the 1/100 Murasame Liger (still gray color) posted on the AmiAmi Blog. Liger Zero (standard) is also up for a late July rerelease.
