Honestly, I'd be surprised if they did a Schwalt/Schubaltz variant considering they already did that for Sabre Tiger. I think a LTD PK version is much more likely. I also wouldn't expect to see more than one variant for this guy, as we all know economic times are tough right now and it's a well-known fact that the larger, more expensive kits don't sell as much as the smaller, inexpensive ones. In fact, I'd be surprised if we saw another large-scale HMM in the next 3-4 months.

I think I know what's bothering us about the teeth... it's either the fact that he has an odd number of upper teeth for that retro interlocking effect, or that it lacks the huge canines that make gorilla mouths so keen

PK would probably run $130+ shipping, but if I start setting aside now it would be a prize jewel in my collection! It really makes me wish they would announce future kits once they actually begin working on them. Admit it, it would be good for them and for us if they announced a Gojulas was slated for release early next year, or that an HMM Empire Memorial kit was on the way. (now, honestly, that would be a great Christmas gift!)

They're giving us pretty fair warning on IK here. It's slated for December, and that usually means the end of the month. I think most of the others have had similar lead times.
I wonder how they'd handle a Gojulas or Deathsaurer. The originals went by the previous theories of dino-stance, and thus looked like men in dino suits. That style would bug me even more in HMM form. I'm hoping they give them "attack" and "purse" modes, like Giga, so that everyone is happy.

Personally I'd rather them just do Giga instead of Gojulas, although there are other large-scale Republic Zoids I'd be more excited about than either of those two. Namely Dibison or Koenig Wolf (w/ CP's of course). Although I have to admit the Zoid I'd like to see the most in the HMM line would have to be Murasame Liger.

My biggest wants are Liger Zero and Rev Raptor, the latter even more likely now that we've seen a Gun Sniper.
But Murasame would be awesome as well. ...Giga... Giga would be quite the monster HMMified.

That theory has gotten an unfair bad rap as of late. While it is certainly out-dated, it isn't necessarily incorrect; at least for some species. |

I never really liked the original Gojulas and preferred Giga. But I also never cared about Shield Ligers, until Koto made them all sleek and vicious. Hopefully, Kotoukiya can produce a Gojulas that looks good. I'm especially entralled by the idea of a posable Gojulas tail. And a Kotobukiya Death Saurer would be the coolest looking thing. Like someone already said, it should have 2 mobile modes like Giga. Not that I expect to see Death Saurer running around (which would be awsome), but they would be quite a sight, then rearing up onto their tail to fire their particle beams. Murasame would be blessed to have a HMM form -and just might if Kotobukiya goes that far, seeing as they've got mainy CC/GF era zoids and Leon's Blade Liger- but I personally hope to see Kotobukiya breath life into the smaller, useless and/or stiff models. Like Raynos, Wardick, Barigator, Stealth Viper, Hammerhead, DiloForce, Rev Raptor and others. Those zoids have so much potential to be amazing, but their models just don't get across the full effect. Especially Hammerhead with all those missle ports. They might even give it a mouth in respect to the predatious animal it's based off of. And then for models like Murasame who might not have had a good first run. I think of Kotobukiya's zoids as a sort of 'rebirth' and a chance to spark interest in older designs. |

My thoughts exactly. The thing I look forward to most isn't "Great zoids made even better" it's "mediocre zoids made great".... can you imagine a gordos with a flexible body that could actually swing his tail at enemies? and DECENT BODY ARMOR?

I would say the number one requirement for HMM candidates is that they must have notoriety with the fanbase, but as far as I know, Cannon Tortoise was never that popular.
