In fact, there is the "blue" OER mammoth, the french green Mammoth, and the special one that was sold in an OER red box. It is this last one in the second photo, with a little part swap. In fact, the first time I saw OJR Zoids, it was when I received my first OJR catalog in 1994. It was the Deathsaurer catalog, and on it, Mammoth is appearing all black (because of the photo). And before I bought it, I thought it was all black. So I did one with Gorgon parts. There is fourth one, the Core Box, but it is still MIB. i'm only missing the Radio Shack, if we consider that the OJR and the blue OER are identical, appart the instruction booklet.

Ace collection.
I've only got the Zoidscore one (whic I have built) and, of course, Mammoth The Destroyer. Nasty, scheming buger that he is...

I saw this Radio Shack, but there are plenty of other things interesting me (as always when there is a Radio Shack...), and I just bought three white box Zoids contest, so maybe I will let it.

I must confess, I hate the Mammoth mold. Too curved, and looks like its missing half his armour. So what White boxes did you get ? Pics & reviews please !

It will come later, when I receive them... There is the Red Matrix Dragon, the Black Evoflyer and the Blue Seismosaurus. I will even have a Red Leo Striker in double.

I'm kinda love-hate on Mammoth...on one hand it's quite clever, on the other the head is too far back and looks odd. It's my least favorite of the Zoids on that base chassis, but I don't actively dislike it either. I suspect I'd like the red one more too...

Lionel You're a serious collector, aren't you? I am not a serious collector, but I do like to see what others have, especially the rare ones that I could NEVER afford, be sure to post the pictures of those when you have time!!!

One thing that could be said about Mammoth, and the ZRK, is that those two, even if they are the very first Giant Zoids, have very sophisticated mecanism, that were better even than the Zoids coming after, like Madthunder or Gungayardo. And even in the NJR line, there are very few Zoids as complex as them. Lionel

Yes they lack heavy armour & hard hitting weapons, but for me their skeletal venerable ancient forms are part of their attraction. I am very envious of your Mammoth collection Lionel- fair play.

Did I say I didn't like them? Gordos and Zrk are awesome (Gojulas too, if it counts among that group), Mammoth's head just bugs me.
Zrk is fun for black and white photography too. Try iiiit.

And the ZRK is, and will stay, the sole Giant White Head Zoid ! It is him who should have been inside the Core Box. I'm sure it will be reissued one day, as a limited.

... I want a Mammoth Neoblox to be in the Legends line. If they're Legends then why aren't Mammoth, Zrk and Salamander in them, and instead we have the rather non-legendary Murasame Liger and the conversely quite legendary Gojulas, Iron Kong and Redhorn?
No, this has nothing to do with me wanting minature versions of Krark, Zoidzilla, Gore, Mammoth and Redhorn. Nothing at all
