Did I say I didn't like them? Gordos and Zrk are awesome (Gojulas too, if it counts among that group), Mammoth's head just bugs me. Zrk is fun for black and white photography too. Try iiiit. No you didn't say you didnt like him, so dunno why I quoted you in particular- just that you had mentioned him. My points were introduced more in general to people who dont rate the older Zoids than you. I know you rate the older stuff and I am glad to find someone that rates Gordos cos I think he gets a rough deal. Cannoneer is particularly quality. I can see where you're coming from with Mammoth's head although I've never noticed it before. (Redhorn seemed to notice something weak about Mammoth's head in the OER comics though!!) It doesnt really bother me- I mean none of the earlier zoids are great anatomically when looked at retrospectively. I wish they'd do a more modern Mammoth Zoid. Elephander is cool, but he just doesnt look mean enough & he isnt big enough. A nice intimidating sleek black Zoid Giga-ish size would really do the trick. Empire too- they need some bulk...

Just curious how this post qualifies as a review? If you want to discuss a model kit then post it in the Model Kits board, the Reviews Board is for actual reviews. Thanks.

Hehe... Speking for myself i frelling love mamoth. But he is definately the porest designed, theh ead is as tilyl says odd, and hte tail, by god the tail. whoever thaught that it was a good idea to put hte whole zoids weight on that tail joint needs to be shot. Out of 3 vintage mamoths, i;ve had 2 broken clean off, and one severly cracekd and no longer holding.
