Appleseed, confusing and disappointingly dull. Only saw it once years ago, and that was enough (what a waste of £10 that was). Not a patch on Ghost in the Shell or Patlabor (though even that was a bit boring in places).
As for the Deadly Kong's bandage, I can remember that actual sequence you're talking about being on someones Avatar, but I can't remember who.
