I've always thought zoids weren't cool ENOUGH in the way of g-gundam/digimon/etc.. some are, but a few are just too damn bland and militaristic. that has no place in the genesis story, so i'm happy to see these neat stylish zoids  |

Gee, Giant war machines looking militaristic... I shudder at the thought. Sry please pardon my sarcasm. But i really prefer a serious looking zoid that i can picture storming across a desert exchanging fire against its counterparts. I dont like the cheesy cartoony power ranger look of these. Actually ,no power ranger zoids look less goofy than this kong. Sorry , normally i really like kongs, and i am starting to warm up to bio zoids actually, but this thing is just plain awful. It has no detail, it has no.........realism to it. I would expect to see this as a zoid happy meal toy >_>

Blitzwing mentioned that DK has some sort of a claw in that bandage (I think it was the cp for him that's underneath the bandage thingy)

yeah in tha anime the DK has a rotating retractable claw device under the bandage, when it goes beserk it pulls off the bandage inthe over complicated and over dramatic fassion that things happen ina anime and he goes well mental and ripps things up, like bioraptors.
although in the model at the momnet you only get this kinna silly digimony bandage, but the soon to be released genisis CP's, includes the beserker claw as i'm calling it, which replaces the bandage on the zoid.
As for why ther is actually abandage inthe fist place, is because i thnk tomy is trying a new angle by putting quirks and gimmics into zoids, to try and snare the fans of other gimmick riddled anime like the afore mentioned digimon, and you know b-daman( or as its called by the kids nad i dont thnk its a coninkydink, B-daMON), and you know ithink gundam to an extent. cause marusame and hayate liger both looks to me like lion shaped gundams.
Also if your gonna go down the rout of why does a robot need a bandage, then I bought appleseed yesterday, and why does reoious need to where clothes when hes a robot, i mean i dont think he has anything to hide. ( i also got gohst inthe shell, its about 20 times better, and by the same producers, and doesnt looks as weird as appleseed, another thing that bothers me about appleseed, is why when hitomi is explaining that half of the population is bioroids, does she automatically assume ther are clones, and not robots, thats what i thought oids hinted at??)
