Hi fellow Zoiders, This thread is about trying to find out what I can about missing and nearly impossible to find Robostrux and Technozoids. I known about most of these for a very long time. I've never aquired any of them. Recently I came across a few sales rep catalog references of those missing, what I called 'The Lost Boys'. Lizar,Fangs and Beetro from the Robostrux line and Thunder Tri-tops, electric doberman, Dragonfly,Snake and Mammoth of the Technozoids lines. All are missing from my collection. But since I can't find them I can't get them. The only one I've ever see, but failed to win was the dragonfly. I have these images, net grabs, for references. I would at the very least like more information on those net grabs. What issues, years, ect or anything that would help me aquire a hard copy of my own for my collection. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated! Here are those pics please enlighten me. Or hell if you have leads on those lost boys for sale shout it out, er um pm me why tell everyone and ace me out of em! Here we go Well there we are my thread on 'The Lost Boys'

'Ello bill Well; I do know that the Techno Zoids Thunder Tritops, Doberman, and Venom Snake were never released. The prototypes may be floating around somewhere, probably for an insane amount of cash. Dragon Fly and Fangs were straight re-boxes of the Zoids 2 versions. The TZ Mammoth is in OER colours so presumably was a re-box as well, but reportedly was never released as part of the line. I had no idea there was a RoboStrux version of Saicurtis.

After discussing it with Lionel a few years back, we concluded that Fangz was almost certainly a hoax - there's no evidence it was ever even planned for a Robo Strux release. In hindsight, the fact that the original OJR Shieldliger wasn't even released until a year after Robo Strux died should've been a giveaway... (I've also heard rumours of a Robo Strux Stealth Viper called "Vipor" known only from colour scheme concepts, but I have no idea where that information came from or how trustworthy it is.) Unfortunately I don't know what the Robo Strux catalogue is, but I do have a couple more photos from it. Same for the Techno Zoids one, although I do have a promising candidate for that one. I can at least tell you it's not the 1994 Kenner Action Toy Guide, or the Irwin 1995 Toys catalogue, or the Tomy 1995 Specialty Catalog...

Thanks guys! Actually I already have a few of those catalogs already. I've even emailed back n forth with a collector of those type of catalogs and even he has no idea and wished me luck. There is another guy who actually started a library of these types of catalogs I've yet to touch base with but am trying to. I know it is a lost cause but as Technozoids ended and my conversations with reps on the phone indicated they were released but only in Canada and then the trail went cold. Once on ebay I saw and tried for the dragonfly and failed. This gave me hope they really do exist somewhere and some collector is laughing at me while staring at his Thunder Tritops. I have the other versions, zoids2 and all, of all of them however I'd really rather have these ones!

Falcarious I think you just may be pointing me in the right direction. I found a catalog on ebay and contacted the seller to verify. While web searching I found this web page. Thus more catalogs to get as well. www.parrygamepreserve.com/features/catalogs/A ways down the page is Tomy catalogs. The very 1st one has a Red ultra in it. So just adding to my seemingly growing list of these to get. Anyway just more info to add if anyone else is searching as I am.

Since you're catalogue-hunting, can you let me know if you ever see this one? It should have the start of Robo Strux and the end of Starriors, possibly even including some cancelled designs that were probably recycled into R.A.T.S.

Update: Catalog arrived today! It is indeed the one being searched for referencing the missing Technozoids. For those needing pics here is the front cover of the catalog with them in it. It is one of several in this folder. In case anyone else searching for thier own quest. Many Thanks Falcarius! P.S. still searching for you.

Another interesting fact gleaned from having that catalog with the missing Technozoids is as follows. The case number on the cases with the thunder tritops and battlesarus is exactly the same as the previous number with just battlesarus plural in it. My collection has the battlesarus case, numbered 64820. This also the same number given for the cases with a mix of battlesarus and thunder tritops. The case I have is clearly marked 3 Battlesaurus. So it makes me wonder how many thunder tritops were in the mixed cases when they were made. Further that if I made a big mistake back then on not having her ship me a full case. But I wasn't guaranteed what was to be in it when it was shipped which was why I dropped it. Anyway my MIB Technozoids are tucked away in my Battlesaurus case lot box 64820. Just a few very elusive ones and that quest will be completed. I doubt I'll ever see mib of any of them anytime soon, but I never give up hope.

Well, once that Gravity Rex showed up here I think a lot of people got a little shot of hope! I still wish someone could scan and print that kit...
