Has anyone else seen these yet? They are called zikhoobusik. I just might have to pick some of them up.

I personally think the red one in the middle looks alright. Are any of these knockoffs ever any good? I'm doubting it..

These have been around for a while, and I've actually heard good things, but tbqh I'm just not that interested. I ran out of shelf space a while ago, and this isn't anyhwere near the top of my list of priorities.

Got a few as a thing to try. These are definitely Zoids Wild derived kits.

In some ways I like the less organic element of these kits, though these are digital images to advertise, I love the idea of a source of cheaper parts.

4 coming and 4 more to get later. I watched a vid on the page of that screen shot. The movement are fairly in line with zoids. It showed the blue T Rex with knives on the side that when he walks they swing forward on each side of it. They seemed a bit mechanical in movement but the swing forward was faster than the drawing back of them. I can't wait to see the movements of the rest of them. The 4 purchased were only 60 bucks or so. I'll let you know more once they are in my hands.

Fascinating. it seems they specifically chose the worst-looking Wild kits to do (what appears to be) a completely original mold of, that is merely a ripoff of Tomy's design.. and improved on them tremendously. . I'm genuinely tempted on these here 'simulation dinosaurs' and I wonder if they really Would Leave Moving Blocks

I've got three of these, the Rex, Cryptovolans (Red guy), and Trike. Yes, they're based on the Wild kits, and share most of their mechanisms with them. The digital images are pretty true to the final appearance aside from Trike being decidedly more NEON in person. The Rex colors are just lovely, but don't photograph well (they are darker and more sparkly teal in person, like the 3D image, than they are here). The red on the Cryptovolans is also quite nice. There's something... distinctly antique looking? about the silver. Like those old silver model planes or something. Their colors are hell to photographAs someone who likes the Wild kits, these are fun, and I plan to get more. The build is fine, some plastic feels light and a little cheap (in Crypto especially), but none of it is actually brittle or anything, so I don't think that matters, tbh. There are even some I like more than the official versions, like the Trike. If you like the designs, at this price point, they're definitely worth it.

Oh I'm such a dork, I was trying in vain to buy (reluctantly) from Aliexpress, only to finally look at this post again and see 'Zikhoobusik' which helped me find amazon links for two of the four that I wanted (sorry, improved tricera, you still lack a neck). Then somehow I found the others under the 'Boley' name.. even cheaper! I still feel a little bad about funding this kind of thing, but they're here already and I honestly like them so much better than what Tomy's putting out these days. And hey I did buy five legit Wild kits so far, and have been trying to buy more but it feels like they just don't care about American fans at this juncture.

And hey I did buy five legit Wild kits so far, and have been trying to buy more but it feels like they just don't care about American fans at this juncture. Hey, blame Hasbro on that part. TT definitely is primarily focused on Japan only rather than anywhere else it seems. Hasbro's poor promotion and quick drop of the first wave of Wild kits that were renamed from the anime was genuinely somehow worse than their handling of the franchise when they bankrolled Fuzors...Wild on Netflix is popular with the target audience and I've got anecdotal proof that Hasbro dropped the ball on the kits. I displayed a bunch of my Lego Zoid models at a Lego show a few months back and the amount of small kids (10 and under) who immediately recognized Zoids was amazing. The anime on Netflix is HUGELY popular with that age bracket and I actually had parents asking me where to buy modern day kits; having to explain Hasbro's poor handling with the Pulse sales and then dropping overstock at Ross discount stores was heartbreaking. The market is there, but only if it got into a brick and mortar retailer like Walmart or Target I feel. Bespoke toy and electronics shops like we had back in the day (Kaybee Toys, Radioshack, Toys R Us, etc) would be perfect for a line of toys like these but they're a relic of a bygone era. I preordered a few kits on Pulse, but they were insanely expensive. Once they hit clearance and markdown on the Hasbro ebay store I went ham, but still was missing kits that were out of stock. Once I learned they dumped the rest of the stock at Ross I went through hell to complete the run. Got a few friends to help and we scoured like 10 Ross stores across our state and I came out of it with doubles and triples of some sets; they're still sitting unbuilt but I finished the wave! I'm just glad we can finally get HMM kits though Koto in the US easily now...

Hey, blame Hasbro on that part. TT definitely is primarily focused on Japan only rather than anywhere else it seems. At this point can't they just drop Hasbro and let someone else pick up the license? Not that I could see anyone else being big enough or having the robo experience, but yeah hasbro has gone way downhill lately, as any Transformers fan will tell you. There's no reason for them not to just ship zoids kits to distributors in america at this point though. cut out the middleman, we are nearly in a post-retail civilization.

Hmm I've only built one of these so far but it already has a mild disappointment, the parasaurolophus has the same pachycedos feet, instead of what's printed in the above images where it has new redesigned three-toed feet that are more proportional. Otherwise quality seems fine, plastic feels stiff but nothing has broken yet, and there seems to be like no flash left when you remove them by hand

I wonder why there are no Liger or Tiger kits.
