Hey all. No, I'm not back fully -- as I explained to Pheno, time's been.. well.. non-existant for me, and with all my stuff packed away and my local stores completely and utterly CLEANED of Zoids by myself, I don't feel I'd be contributing to the community as of yet.
However, I do trust you guys in more ways than you realize... so I figured this would be the best place to ask.
I have an affinity with building stuff.. and kind of a guilty pleasure for me is Beyblades, those battling tops from Takara/Hasbro. I only own 6 ATM, as well as 2 arenas (whcih I think are identical with different paintjobs), and the magnetic accessory pack & tray.
Essentially what I was looking for was any knowledge on websites, tips, and what not when it comes to Beyblades. Most specifically:
Stuff like that. I guess what I'm looking for is a good fansite dedicated to them, and such. They seem decently fun (although the stickers come off far too easily), and it is a great lesson in physics to see how the different shapes/tips and such work.
... I'm also wondering if I can find a left-spin gear for my Trygle (a top that rides high and "jumps" when hit right)... it's got a replacable spin gear for reasons I cannot fathom...

Essentially what I was looking for was any knowledge on websites, tips, and what not when it comes to Beyblades. Most specifically:
- How do the different weight rings / spin gears/ attack points affect things?
- Are there differences in the stadiums that are noticable?
- Are any of the "fancy" launchers worth it?
- Ignoring the heavy-power arena magnets, do the magnetic cores/ magnetic weight rings affect things, and how do they interact with "normal" tops?
- exactly how many different top types are there?
- do the bit chips -do- anything? Is there a reason why some have triangles and circles etched out of them?
Stuff like that. I guess what I'm looking for is a good fansite dedicated to them, and such. They seem decently fun (although the stickers come off far too easily), and it is a great lesson in physics to see how the different shapes/tips and such work.
