Page has been updated with a battle story. Additional dark zoids (not previously released) include the Death saurer, IK, Helcat, Malder, Iguan, The entire zenevas memorial release, wardick, and saicurtis.

I know a lot of people think the Dark scheme is overused (on customs) but these do look good. Hellrunner and Helcat me likes. But Dark Iguan has too much silver.
Its DARK Iguan, dangnabbit - not Bling Iguan !

Dark DeathSaurer.... yes, the others are VERY pretty (I'm not a big fan of the Kong and Malder, but I know there are sprue tree limitations). They look VERY sharp. Here's to hoping some of these will be actual production pieces! They certainly LOOK molded, not painted....

On the extremely slim chance they do see production, I'm almost sure they will be a convention exclusive or some such, that only a privileged few are ever able to get their hands on.
But they ARE nice...especially Deathy, Wardick and Helcat!

They looked kinda funny to me, so I bribed Kaelin to screenshot the text big for me...
It says something like "Items other than the Molga and Gator are not goods [for sale]. They are image models for photography purposes."
The other text looks to just be stuff about how Guylos was all "yoink, my army and Zoids now".

Man, they look so great. I've always wanted to make some of those as customs.. Though IMO a Dark Kong would look better with silver as his undercolor, or even as his overcolor, with green only in strategic places like inside the shoulder vents

they are pretty and all, but isn't the green supposed to be caused by the Deochalum's radiation, which is why the original Dark zoids only had it on their motors and cockpit glass?
These 'new' Dark zoids use it as a random accent color, which lessens the overall awesomeness of the Guylos Empire.
Plus, that Iron Kong is just plain Gaudy. Nobody would pilot that walking nightlight.

Even if you say "Motor", you're combining an aspect of the model kit with an aspect of the story and so it doesn't tend to make too much sense. In other words, the "motor" isn't a motor to the people who pilot the zoids, it's all just another part of the zoid even if a more central part.
I don't really see why the eyes glowing would make any more sense either and for what it's worth, Deadborder has glowy green bits on it's arms and legs in addition to it's eyes and torso.

That Kong is almost a direct copy of an OJR custom, sans some underwater equipement and later a prototype Beam Smasher. The Death Saurer too, if you ignore the lack of laser axe and weird Alien-style hood.

There is way too much green on that Kong! It hurts my eyes!
If they did ever decide to release the others, I'd do anything to get my hands on that Dark Helcat!

The original dark zoids only had a bit of neon green, not a lot, but.. a) they were designed with the dark scheme in mind, whereas these don't have nice obvious places pre-molded into them b) there were only ever 3 dark zoids, so it's kinda hard to extrapolate how theyre meant to look. 2 of them have dark-glass-over-green-eyes, but the third doesn't, for example

Canon battlestory says there was more than just those three. It's more cost-effective to make three distinctive pieces, than recoloring every kit out there.
To quote Tilly, "yoink, my army and Zoids now".
