Just don't know how many of you here have been following the Zoids Generation side story, but from Zoids Poison the news is that Degenki will release the 3rd series in Zoids Generation, and this will be a 2-in-1 set, ZGe-003 feat. Hound Soldier and Hebby Rhimos.
It is scheduled for a release in August at a suggestion price of 3500 yen. Sorry I don't have the pics for this, anyone who has a link or photos can post them later

Sigh.. I love it.. and I hate the weapons.. and I'm sure this will be ridiculously expensive...
..
ok so now there are like 5 rhimos, right? and 3 of them are black, plus they've used all 3 regular zoid eye glass colors, plus one uncommon one. Yep... rhimos rules

3500 Yen is not a bad price for two Generations Limiteds, though I'm sure they won't be that cheap on auction sites.
But the colours are pretty un-inspiring, you could easily mistake the Houndsoldier for the Genesis release. I like the Rhino CP but its dissappointing the missle pods don't open. In fact, I'm dissappointed by the whole thing. A little more thought could have made this ten times better, at no additional cost.

Is it just me, or are Tomy not even trying anymore?
Liger Blue and Rez Tiger were great, but I doubt I'd be buying these new ones for the same reason I didn't buy many of the Fuzors line... because the colour schemes weren't that different to the ones I already had. Sure these new ones have new stuff, but they may as well just released the extra parts for the existing kits.... Having said that though, I could be eating my words because I have to admit that the Hound Soldier is growing on me... even with that funny little barrel thing on it's throat!
Has anybody worked out what that is yet, btw?
Incidentally, what's that orange and white liger on the bottom left? Is it a custom?

Is it just me, or are Tomy not even trying anymore? TOTALLY (see also, the ZED line). I blame the Transformers movie and all their creative juices going toward that (now that takara and tomy are ONE). Hopefully after the movie dies down there'll be something good, zoidswise? Zenebas box set #2 would be a nice place to start  |

No one at ZP has figured it out, but Lionel suggest it could like the St. Bernard dogs myth where liquor is stored (;D) The white liger is supposedly to be Miko Liger, another LZ variant piloted by a miko (Japanese temple maiden). |

I love Rhinos & willl definitely get a set or 2 of these, but I do agree that the colours arent the most inspiring aye.
