Well, it looks like we have final colors on these guys. (Borrowed from Zoidspoison, don't worry no direct linking  )  What is it Tilly says?....PANTS! While these guys still look awesome, I'm a little unhappy Koto decided to play it so safe. I am SOOOO disappointed to not have a black+red Geno  These two designs are definitely going to be awesome, but I will wait for a (hopefully?) limited edition of both. Koto, you will put me into the throes of a major depression, if you don't give me a Reese, Rotten Roger or afore mentioned black+red limited. As for Bladey limited, anything less than proper Leon red or Black Impact will leave me very irritated  Hopefully somebody will be able to provide us with release dates before too long. |

You mean people really were expecting the colours of the zoids not to be standard colours?  At any rate, saw this a while ago. Got a high res version too though it takes forever to load. |

Yes! Roger's Geno for limited!
It was obvious that they were to go with stock colors for standard releases... Though it's not an exact copy.

Expecting...no. Wishing...yes. I understand the reasoning behind it, I just wish companies could ever do something different...being a little less mainstream all the time would be very good indeed. And yes, the people at ZP did see this awhile back. I didn't think it would hurt to let members here at Pheno's have a look. |

The HMM line is all about "mainstream" hence the choices of the zoids so far I would think :p You have to remember they're appealing to as many zoidsfans as possible, not you, not me, not even Phenos or ZP. They're all about the mass-market so why wouldn't it be mainstream? :p
And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with showing this. I'm just pointing out that maybe you should note that these colours have been "finalised" for some time :p Personally I'd wait for the actual kit colours though. I would've guessed by now that people would know that most of the pre-release kits are "finished" models which have been touched up meaning that the actual kit is dumbed down a lot.

Those two were spected to be standard colours i think

The kits since the first Shieldy have offered alternate cockpit colors and we've had a couple random CP releases involving alternate ones too, so methinks they are well aware that the fans want to be able to repaint things in whatever color(s) they fancy. How many regular Zoids got a clear cockpit release? I know there's some I'd LOVE to get that for D:.
I also hate the black/red Geno and would rather have Roger's or Riese's or something entirely new...everyone has something different they'd like to see first beyond "regular one with most recognition". My guess is that's part of why the non-regular Kotobukiya critters have been semi-limited. Less risk involved with people going "urgh" and hating it if you do a smaller run.

HMM Geno Saurer, I LOVE YOU. Imma gona get three, so I can have one stock, and paint the other, and another... just because! *hugs self*
Oh, and the Bladey is nifty, too. But if it does the stupid 'anime cockpit' with the two little seats... I just might die.

I think I'm the only one who wants an HMM Museum Expo Genosaurer... Now I'm torn on the limited Geno. On the one hand, Roger's Geno, and yes, the Museum Expo Geno have great colors. On the other hand, I really need a Psycho Saurer. Like, bad. Hmm... I'm guessing the Bladey'll be Mirage for the limited? |
