I used HLJ alot, but once I got used top Amenbo, I found it the best place for my zoid related purchases. So I'm glad if it reopens.

Thanks for the update LEMental !
Amenbo was always my first choice for Zoid buying. Not really sure why I prefered it to HLJ, other than I found Amenbo first and stuck to it. HLJ was my back up, if Amenbo was out of stock.
Two things I reMember about Amenbo; 1 - they tracked down a Sturm Tyrann for me when EVERYONE had sold out, and even sold it to me at normal price. 2 - when I heard about the Museum Zoids, I asked if they could be get hold of them. Two days later, they had a proxy buying page up.
The only reason you should not use Amenbo is that mean less goodies for me !
It would be great to see them back online - zed

EMS always EMS. SAl is a bit persnickity at times, so unless oyu on an economy kick, EMS is the way to go

EMS is definitely better if you don't want the angst of long waiting times and/or you're ordering lots of stuff. SAL ranges from great deal to ARGH WHERE'S MY BOX depending on where you are, how big what you bought is, when you ordered it...
It usually likes me, but that seems to be a combination of going small packet and possibly living near O'Hare. Someday, Hidocker and I should have synchronized package-races to test this idea.

Amenbo is great, sold me a Fury, Liger and Panzer KFM bundle for a fair price and despite the huge delays they were still shipped (Granted not on time) and they arrived in perfect condition.

The wonderful thing about Amenbo was it gave you an accurate shipping quote, when you place the order. With small items, EMS can actually be cheaper than SAL.
But generally, I take SAL unless its something expensive.
