That, & the other pic you have on your site make it look well cool. I take it this is a modified Tomy, not Koto SL?

It is not a Koto, you can see even is the photo is masked that it is a real Zoid.

I hope it's relatively easy to get hold of. I don't like the way Tomy keeps making the 'real' Zoid kits 'Limited', these days. (I'll include the ones with the really cool resin add-on parts here).
(By 'real' Zoids, I mean old-school, motorised non-Blox kits - of course, I wouldn't mind seeing more Bio-Zoids and Kotobukiya-style kits, either)

I just had my Japanese friend read the blog (he can understand Osaka dialect meaning he's preferred over online translators xp) and he says that Red Shield Liger will be at the WHF BUT it will not be for sale. A display piece only, there's not much else written other than that >_> As for the weird Neoblox mess.... my friend says it's a happy new years card  |

Well it would seem like a waste of resources if you don't know anything about it. It originally surfaced as a design for Zoids Online Wars as a limited unit some months ago. That they've made a model kit out of it now says many things but even now they've simply said it will be on display at a convention, not "This is a display piece only". What it's future will be beyond that hasn't been said so if anyone's hyped up and disappointed then it's not really Tomy's fault then is it?

I'll agree all the limiteds lately is annoying, but there's been display models of Zoidy stuff at conventions before, so I don't see how they qualify as taunting...besides, if there's truly retooled parts on it, I'm sure we'll see them SOMEWHERE, sooner or later.
