Kotobukiya is issuing a special clear-coloured cockpit for use with the Ligers. The idea is that you can use clear paints to colour it for yourself but personally I think it looks cool as it is. Amenbo is offering it bundled with the Desert liger: www.amenbo.com/cgi-bin/list/toys/zoids/new1-e.cgi

I've already placed another order at Amenbo, now I'm going to see if HLJ are going to get them too, if they don't then I'll cancel my HLJ order and get a third from Amenbo xp

What brands of paint would be good for this?

Tamiya have a range of "clear" paints but I'd recommend Hidocker's fabric dye method over using paint.

Tamiya have a range of "clear" paints but I'd recommend Hidocker's fabric dye method over using paint. Ironically(?) I've gone all the way over to the clear paint side. If I ever get a place with an electric stove, I might try dyeing again. Man, I can't even imagine trying to keep track of those tiny ass pieces on the sprue when dyeing.

You could have a sheild liger with a yellow cockpit like the blade liger. The they would sorta match
