I not sure if this really fits into the News-section, but it is quite fascinating: Recently I got a very interesting message from a friend from the Netherlands, Caroline is her name, which said that Zoids were found in the Netherlands. Now the special thing about these Zoids is that their boxes have not only printed their stuff in E/F/Spanish (or E/F/Dutch) like the usual Hasbro/Tomy Zoids, but in six different languages (E/F/German/Spanish/Italian/Dutch, I think). The question is whether this is a brand new release of Zoids in Europe or - and I guess this is more probable - old Hasbro stock that only now reached the stores. The copyright on the boxes seem to be 2004, so I think that back then the plans for a European release were at a final stage, where Hasbro even already began producing European Zoids - just before they made the decision to cancel all Zoids-plans... But still this is interesting as now these Zoids begin to pop-up at different locations, including these two eBay-auctions: Command WolfGravity PteraNow did anyone else find such "multi-language Zoids" in Europe?

The few Hasbro we had in France were not like that, but identical to the NAR I think, with english, french and spanish. It was in 2004 too.

Offhand, I'd say it's just rebadged NAR stock. Possibly form dumping unsold US remanats in Europe.
If there was an attempt at a mass releas in Europe, we'd have heard more of it by now.

Offhand, I'd say it's just rebadged NAR stock. Possibly form dumping unsold US remanats in Europe. This I doubt. US-Zoids with german text on the box? These boxes were made especially for the European market. But repackaging old US-stock into special european boxes would be far too costly. Stickers with the additional languages would do it, too, if at all. I'm sure these Zoids were made / these boxes were designed for the European market from the beginning. The only question is if this production run is from 2004 or if it's a new production run.
