I just saw a picture of what looks to be a new Shield Liger from the Shizuoka Hobby Show. happy.ap.teacup.com/runchickens/It's about 2/3 of the way down. Does anyone have any info on this? My Japanese is a bit rusty...

Interesting...looks like a 3rd-party master-grade resin type of kit. I bet it'll be really expensive and it's a shame they got the proportions all wrong.

Did you see the manufacturor : Kotobukiya. Which means it is maybe not a garage kit. Interesting.

The Takara/Tomy logo is right there you guys, it's a joint effort between T/T and Kotobukiya. Personally I think it looks awesome but it's probably way too expensive. -Pheno

I think the head's too small, but the rest is cool. Reminds me of the art statue in build...
...I think it's poseable.

the double set of ankle joints do not make snowflake happy. Why aren't there doubled hydraulics on the front legs?

Because the original model didn't have them? I can't say for sure but from memory it was only the original anime CG model which had doubled hydraulics.
At any rate, this is a pretty interesting venture. I'd always hoped that Tomy would work with Kotobukiya though not quite in this fashion. Let's see where it leads.

the head needs to be abit wider, the tail gun would be cool as a bod mounted gun.
