I hope this is just an early build, cause that is very under-whelming.

That's not surprising - that game would have had a very small budget. It's not only a niche property, it's for a system that is not expected to do especially well in Japan!
It's using the same music as the PS2 version. It looks like the model and texture detail has been upped a little, and at least two new zoids (Hayate and Murasalami) have been added, but by and large the game seems to have changed little from the Infinity Fuzors. I suspect that the developers just took the PS2/arcade code and ripped out all the optimizations and compromises that were made to fit the game into ram and make it run fast enough, then spent the rest of the time working on networking code.
I lament the fact that consumers often expect every next gen title to look like Fight Night (which isn't really that great, when you consider that it only has two characters and one small arena - hell, the system can devote a different processor to each element!) - it drives up the cost of projects and forces niche titles out of the picture. That's great if you're some neanderthal who only likes Halo, but it's a real disappointment if you want to play games with limited appeal like Gitaroo Man, Carnage Heart or Zoids.

it looks o..k.. not exactly the best graphics for a 360 but gameplay could fill in the gap... maybe?

All the animations and voice clips are straight out of the VS games. How cheap of them.

I don't think that every game has to have graphics like Oblivion or Fight Night. I just think that they could have a done a way better job for next gen. They probably could have, with more time and money. Like I said, niche title, unproven console. A good proportion of the time was probably taken up by getting to grips with Live networking code (which I understand is very friendly, but even the friendliest code takes a while to understand). As Shopro's first X360 title (probably), they probably did the bare minimum. And possibly still ran over budget Another thing to note is that Infinity is a pretty old game. It has some limitations built in, like only allowing two zoids in an arena at once(!) It seems like an odd choice for the first zoids game to be ported to X360. Struggle/Full Metal Clash would have been a much better port, though I'm not sure whether Renderware has been released for X360 yet or not, and I guess that property already has a Genesis version.

For everyone complaining about the graphics, please note that it's very likely how it looks in the arcades as well. The Zoids Infinity website has had imags up for ages and they are at best, pretty average. www.zoids-inf.net/Given that whoever manages the decisions when it comes to zoids seems to be very budget conscious (and has been for some time it seems) I don't know why people are so surprised that the game looks so terrible. It was even said that this was going to be a straight port of the arcade (possibly PS2) version with a couple of extras in it. But yeah, a guy I know imported it (he was some scary Kanon fan...) and he said the game was terrible. Poor graphics, poor mechanics, poor gameplay and so forth. I only really want it for the geno blox myself.

It looks like a zoids battle legends 2 where they spiff up the game a bit. I wouldnt expect such crappy graphics from the 360 an I dont even have one!!! In fact I dont even want one!!!

I heard that the game wasn't playable on NA 360's, only Japan and Asian ones. Can anyone confirm?

Grapchics looks a bit worse than the gamecube zoids battle legends. So when is that gonna get released in the US? I wouldnt mind getting it. Plus it'll be even better if it online capable, so we can all battle it out and chat!

When was the last time a zoids game got released in the states? >_>
The last two games ever released in English were Battle Legends and Legacy which were ports of Vs II and Saga II. Since then we've had Zoids VS III, Zoids Struggle, Zoids Infinity Fuzors, Zoids Saga Fuzors, Zoids Tactics, Zoids Full Metal Crash and now Zoids Infinity EX Neo. None of the previous games were ever released in English. As such, rather than "When will this game be released in the US?" I think a better question would be "Will this game ever be released in the US?" to which the answer I think would be very much no.

I don't think there's such a thing as graphics better than gamecube That said, zoids games have always had pretty bad graphics, and this is no exception.

In all honesty from what I've seen on the trailer I think I like Battle Legends better. I understand that the game is a port and the people are on a tight budget, but for an 360 game it's just sad. It also doesn't look like it targets enemies well.
