I emailed Titan months ago about the much anticipated Transformers: Genesis artbook, and as an afterthought I added a note about the zoids comic, seeeing as how they're reprinting all the old transformers comics. this was their response : Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your email, and apologies for the delay in replying. At this time, we have no plans to publish this volume in the future. Thank you also for your 'Zoids' suggestion - again, unfortunately, have no plans to publish these strips.
Best, Reader Feedback
It's not big news, but I know the Uk comic has it's fans.

well part of the problem there is that the Transformers: Genesis art book was published by Image and... ::pulls out his copy to double check:: 88mph Studios. And I can't remember the details but a few years back problems happened and I don't think 88mph exsists anymore.... Lets also not forget that alot of the artwork in that book... belongs to the now defunct and still in legal problems Dream Wave.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does this have to do with Zoids?

He was asking about the UK comic too.
Pity...I'd love a chance to get it in book format. I might hunt down some of the old issues someday anyway.

Yah. I'd say that re-aquiring the rights to the UK Zoids comic wouldn't exactly be a high priority, and all up roboably not worth the time and effort. A pity, becuse a reprint book of the OER comic would rawk.
...that and you could use it to blackmail Grant Morrison. Sweeeeet.

Think i saw an interview with him ages ago saying how much he'd enjoyed working on the project & how he regretted never getting to develop all of the ideas he had had.
Great shame cos the comic was getting really exciting when they decided to change format (from the weekly Spiderman & Zoids comic) to a monthly US- style Zoids by themselves comic which ultimately never happened.
What were those spawny things? My theory is eveloved Zoidaryans...

Fourth-dimensional beings playing with the "toy" Zoids in "our" universe? It was all going a bit proto-Invisibles, really, but way, way before that series arrived. What a shame Titan won't do a collected volume, though. Although there are lose ends that never get tied up, there's still enough story there to justify a release, and Titan could always interview Morrison, to get an idea of where the story would have gone next.
